Frieza trembled with rage at the humiliating words from this Saiyan monkey. He had never been so furious.
Staring at Goku with red eyes, he gritted his teeth and spoke each word with venom.
"Monkey, you are dead. You are the first—and will be the last—person to dare speak to this king like that!"
Frieza immediately unleashed half of his strength and charged at Goku.
When his fist struck Goku's chest, he realized he could not move him at all.
Fear flashed in Frieza's eyes.
Vegeta, who had returned from a distance, witnessed this and muttered in disbelief, "Kakarot's strength really is far beyond Frieza's. Damn it… does this mean I, the Saiyan Prince, am useless?"
There was something else Vegeta couldn't comprehend.
How could Kakarot, judged a low-level warrior at birth, possess such terrifying power? Perhaps the legend of the Super Saiyan among the Saiyans was true—and Kakarot was the one.
Enraged, Frieza raised his other hand, gathering a massive wave of energy, and fired it at Goku.
Boom!!
Frieza laughed with excitement. "Hahaha! Damn Saiyan monkey! Now you see how powerful I am!"
Suddenly, Goku's voice sounded behind him. "Why are you grinning, Frieza?"
"What?" Frieza spun around in shock, only to find Goku standing right behind him.
"Incredible… Saiyan monkey, when did you get behind me?" Frieza demanded, bewildered.
"Haha!" Goku sneered. "Frieza, with your eyes, don't you understand this? Speed depends on combat power!"
"Saiyan monkey, are you telling me your power exceeds mine?" Frieza growled, pointing at Goku.
Goku smiled. "What do you think, Frieza?"
"Damn it!" Frieza, humiliated beyond measure, was near insanity.
From the start of the fight, Goku had been teasing him relentlessly. Now, all he wanted was to kill this Saiyan monkey—or his rage would never be quenched.
Frieza laughed darkly. "Haha… Saiyan monkey, you didn't think that was my full strength, did you? That was only half! Now, I will use my full power!"
"Once I do, you're dead, Saiyan monkey," he declared.
Goku, arms folded with a confident smile, replied, "Then I'm looking forward to it, Frieza. If you disappoint me, you'll die miserably."
"You damn Saiyan monkey…" Frieza roared, unable to contain his fury.
He spread his arms wide, letting his energy explode. His aura swelled to an enormous size.
Piccolo, observing from a distance, said seriously, "Frieza is about to reveal his true strength."
Krillin looked worried. "Then Goku should be okay, right?"
Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Gohan all watched closely.
Piccolo replied, "I'd say Frieza's strength at most equals Goku's. The chance he surpasses Goku is very small."
Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Gohan felt reassured.
Their own strength was too weak, so all hope rested on Goku. If even he couldn't handle it, they were doomed.
Vegeta, staring intently at Frieza, whispered, "Kakarot should be fine. As for Frieza… I'll definitely surpass everyone in the future."
Frieza's power climbed steadily. "Ninety percent… ninety-one… ninety-two… ninety-three…"
"Ninety-nine!"
Finally, he roared, releasing 100% of his strength. His muscles bulged, and a terrifying aura surrounded him.
After exerting his full power, he said confidently, "Saiyan monkey… you are dead."
Frieza charged at Goku and punched.
Goku met him blow for blow.
Bang!!
Bang!!
Bang!!
A fierce clash erupted between them, each attack exchanged with tremendous force.
Normally, Goku's base combat power of 100 million would be insufficient against Frieza's 120 million.
But the latent potential within Goku's body allowed him to unleash bursts of incredible power at any time—this was the energy of a Super Saiyan.
Even when Frieza unleashed his full strength, he couldn't gain the upper hand. Anxiety crept into him.
"Damn Saiyan monkey!" Frieza roared. "I never thought you could match my full power!"
"Match me? What makes you think so, Frieza?" Goku said calmly.
He raised his hand, sending a blast of wind that hurled Frieza hundreds of meters away.
Stopping just in time, Frieza stared at Goku with horror. "Who… are you? How can your strength surpass mine—Frieza, Emperor of the Universe? This is unforgivable!"
