Chapter 9 - Chapter 8: Facing the Disorder Wind Hammer Technique

Tang San, after recovering from his surprise, left, feeling that he needed to work harder.

Ye Yu finished his push-ups, then went to climb.

At this time, Old Jack had prepared breakfast, then packed his things and headed for Nuoding City. As he left the village and walked along the mountain road, he saw a huge rock moving upward on a cliff, which startled Old Jack.

Looking closely, Old Jack's eyes widened, and his pupils contracted.

"It's... it's Xiao Yu..."

Old Jack rubbed his eyes, took a closer look to confirm, and found that the huge rock was being carried by a small figure. The child carrying the rock was Xiao Yu!

Old Jack watched Ye Yu, drenched in sweat from head to toe, with his clothes soaked, determinedly climbing upward.

A small body carrying such a big rock, seeing this, Old Jack's nose tingled, feeling heartache. Xiao Yu was only six years old, though physically different from ordinary people, this was too much.

"Xiao Yu, do you really want to become a powerful Soul Master..."

Old Jack wiped the tears from the corner of his eyes, didn't go up to stop him, but left quietly.

In his heart, Old Jack resolutely thought: "I must secure another spot."

...

After a round trip of climbing, Ye Yu found a bigger waterfall nearby, a hundred meters high, with even more turbulent water flow and greater impact.

Standing under the waterfall, Ye Yu felt the impact was even greater than that of the rock.

"In the future, after doing gravity training, I will come here to hone myself."

The previous waterfall no longer served the purpose of honing, but this waterfall was just suitable, allowing him to feel pressure. Where there is pressure, there is motivation, and improvement can be achieved.

Two hours later, Ye Yu left. After the awakening of Soul Power, his training time each day increased from four hours to ten.

For others, it's surely unbearable, but Ye Yu's terrifying body seemed to not feel tired. After eating, resting a bit, he continued.

With high-intensity prolonged training, the body wouldn't feel sore the next day, so day after day, there is no need to worry about any hidden dangers appearing in the body.

Arriving home, Ye Yu saw that the dishes were already prepared on the table, and there was a small note written by Old Jack: Xiao Yu, I'm going to Nuoding City and will be back in the afternoon.

Ye Yu put away the note, sat down to eat, while planning his daily training schedule in his mind.

In the morning, carry a giant stone, do a thousand push-ups, one thousand with one hand, and one thousand with two fingers. Then a thousand squats, a round trip of climbing a cliff. After that, stand under a waterfall in a horse stance for an hour, and a thousand full-strength jumps.

After breakfast, continue at noon; four limbs weight training with punches and kicks. In the afternoon, find a big mountain as a target, then practice strength by punching the mountain.

At night, go to the bottom of a river tens of meters deep, practicing punches and kicks against the water pressure.

Ye Yu felt that this plan was feasible and could gradually increase the number of repetitions as his body improved.

After eating, Ye Yu went to the blacksmith's shop.

When he got close, he heard the 'clang clang clang clang' of hammering from afar.

Upon entering, Tang San was holding an oversized iron hammer disproportionate to his body, pounding on the red-hot iron block on the forge.

Seeing Ye Yu enter, Tang San stopped and asked, "Brother Yu, why are you here?"

Ye Yu put down a large bag of rice he had brought and asked, "Do you have heavy iron? I need a hundred pieces, to exchange with this bag of rice."

Tang Hao, drinking a mouthful of wine nearby, said, "There is, but what do you need a hundred pieces of heavy iron for?"

"Weight training." Ye Yu replied straightforwardly, stressing, "I need the heaviest density iron, each piece weighing at least twenty kilograms."

Tang Hao was taken aback upon hearing this.

Tang San recalled the scene from this morning and wasn't too surprised.

"Weight training? Tied to your limbs?"

"Yes." Ye Yu nodded.

Tang Hao cautioned, "A hundred pieces of twenty-kilogram iron add up to eight thousand pounds, two tons of weight. With twenty-five pieces on each of your hands and feet, that's two thousand pounds. It's not about whether your limbs can handle it; at your young age, there's no need to push yourself so hard. Be careful not to injure yourself permanently."

Ye Yu was confident, "I can do it."

Tang Hao did not continue to persuade and nodded, "Alright, I'll make it for you today."

Tang San said, "Dad, let me help you too."

Tang Hao nodded, and Tang San began searching for heavy iron to hammer, removing impurities, reducing the size, and forging iron with the highest density.

Tang San wielded the iron hammer vigorously. However, Tang Hao soon said, "Stop for now, you can't possibly finish in a day with that method."

Tang Hao picked up the hammer and swung it, explaining, "The force doesn't start from the waist but from the muscles in the calf. The calf exerts first, followed by the thigh, waist, back, and arms, in one fluid motion."

Tang Hao held the iron hammer with both hands, his feet firmly on the ground, body half-turned. His calf muscles tightened with force, using the waist as an axis, the whole person like a tiger poised to pounce.

Whoosh!!

The hammer swept down with a whistling sound. The hammer struck the iron block heavily, creating a resounding noise, with the ripple of force shaking the entire house. The red-hot iron block was dented by a third.

Tang San watched this, eyes flashing with astonishment at the tremendous power.

Tang San began to follow suit, operating the Profound Celestial Skill, exerting force from the calves, the power instantly erupting from the calves, rapidly spreading. With a twist of the waist, the power continually rose, growing stronger.

When the power surged to the arms, it felt unprecedentedly potent.

Bam!!!

The hammer struck the iron block accurately, producing a deafening sound, the entire house mildly shook.

But the backlash was immense too, forcing Tang San to take a step back, the hammer rebounding, making his arms go numb.

Tang San operated the Profound Celestial Skill, gradually dispelling the numbing sensation.

Tang San found that this method indeed increased strength significantly, with marked results.

However, the backlash was also strong, which could destabilize the body, especially since hammering the iron block required continuous, uninterrupted strikes.

Tang Hao continued to instruct Tang San, after hammering once, when the strong backlash came, he suddenly turned, exerting force with his calf, the rebounding hammer was smoothly swung again with momentum, producing a loud boom on the iron block, repeatedly...

Seeing this perfect harmony, Tang San's eyes lit up, seemingly simple but not easy. It required mastering the timing perfectly. When the hammer was about to reach its peak in the rebound arc, the body turned and swung a full circle to strike again.

Tang Hao nondisruptively hammered thirty-six times, turning the iron block into an iron pancake, concluding by deftly spinning the hammer three times to dissipate the force, then standing with the hammer in hand.

After watching, Tang San understood.

"Borrow strength to exert force, but to be as seamless as Dad requires time."

Tang Hao nodded, "It's impossible to master by watching once, practice makes perfect."

Ye Yu watched all this, knowing this was the Chaotic Cloak Hammer Technique.

When Tang San was about to start forging, Tang Hao said, "Xiao San, use the technique I just taught you, swing the hammer with all your might and strike at Xiao Yu. If he can block it, I'll prepare one hundred pieces of heavy iron for him. If he can't, there is no need to prepare, as it might not help but harm him instead."

Tang San nodded, looking to Ye Yu to ask his opinion, "Brother Yu, what do you think?"

Ye Yu sincerely nodded, "Of course, bring it on!"
