Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Stelle and the Trio Pt.2

A glowing orb in Kafka's hand was slowly being pushed into Stelle's body, before a burst of light erupted and the orb being fully inside Stelle's body, her body slowly floating down against the wall.

Stelle who had gained half of her consciousness, blinked slowly as she took in the faces of the two people in front of her.

"Kafka...?"

Back on Kafka's side.

After Kafka checked Stelle's memory and seeing that she remembers her, moved on to other important stuff as time wasn't on their side.

"Listen: You are in a daze right now. You don't know who you are, why you're here, or what you're going to do next. You think I look familiar, but you're not sure if you should trust me—"

"... None of that matters. All you need to know is that I'm leaving, and you will be left all alone on this space station. From now on, you needn't think about your past or doubt yourself."

"Listen: In the near future, you will encounter all kinds of peril and hardships, but you will also have many wonderful experiences. You'll meet companions who treat you like family, and embark on surreal adventures with them..."

"At the end of your journey, all that perplexes you and troubles you will resolve."

"This is your future that Elio has foreseen. Do you like it?"

Kafka said with her Spirit Whisper, looking at Stelle with warmth and motherly love, visible to not only the players on earth, but also to her companion beside her, Silver Wolf.

"W-Where are you going..." Stelle said weakly trying to reach out to Kafka but having no strength, couldn't move much.

"The next stop, to pave the way for the future that is written."

"It's like weaving brocade — you and I can only add one gold thread each time, but eventually, we will make a gorgeous pattern."

Kafka replied softly to Stelle's question, as Silver Wolf interrupted Kafka.

"How long do you think you need? According to the script, the Astral Express Crew is arriving soon. We should avoid being seen by them." Silver wolf said looking at Kafka.

"I know, Silver Wolf. Just give me another minute." Kafka said not even looking back to Silver Wolf, continuing to speak to Stelle.

"I must leave now. Listen: Someone will come and find you very soon, just go with them. You won't remember a thing except me."

Hearing this, Stelle stirred.

"Kafka..." trying to stop her from leaving.

"When you have a chance to make a choice, make one that you know you won't regret..." Kafka said with her tone and eyes showing reluctance to leave Stelle behind.

Stelle seeing Kafka and Silver Wolf turning around to leave, she felt the strength in her body slowly leave her as she slowly lost consciousness, her hand trying to reach out ultimately reaching out to nothing.

"Kafka, d-don't go..."

But she ultimately fell unconscious not remembering anything but Kafka.

During all this, on Elena's side.

Elena came to terms that she just didn't know what the system was doing, she couldn't fully understand why the system wasn't giving her the memories and experience it had made for her, she knew it existed.

It felt weird for her, to know something but at the same time not. It was like looking through a fog and walking underwater.

Still, Elena hadn't let it affect her too much, she was an adult with lots of experience. Even in her past life she had experience being helpless numerous times, it was the reason she had become a doctor, despite wanting aspiring to be something else.

While Elena accepted this system not being a conscious being and might just be broken or something, she was confused as to why Dan Heng and March 7th had not reacted at all by her not joining the fight except for tending to the wounded and injured staff.

Even before, when she had decided to join them in finding and rescuing staff, nobody in the Astral Express Crew had stopped her out of concern.

Elena thinking about all this, didn't neglect her duties. Whether it be here or the previous one, she multitasked.

"Little March, Dan Heng... There's someone here." stopping them as I pointed towards one direction.

It was something she had learned during this short time. The energy in her body, if she focused allowed her to sense others life, and the closer they got the stronger it was.

"What are we waiting for, let's go!" March 7th urged energetically, not questioning Elena as Dan Heng simply nodded coolly as they went in the direction Elena had pointed out.

As the group got closer and closer, the surrounding became more and more familiar to Elena. It was the area where Stelle was found, and now that they were getting closer, the life energy she was picking up that had been weird was most likely the Stellaron Core inside Stelle's body.

At the same time, Dan Heng checked the coordinates Station Master Asta had sent over with difficulty, noting that the location Elena had pointed out didn't have one, and was most likely another trapped staff.

But when they arrived at the location, all they saw was simply an unconscious girl laying against the wall.
