I jolt out of the infirmary bed with a yelp and look around just to see many other injured soldiers "the smell fucking stinks...do they not use deodorant or something." I think to myself, but I've still yet to discuss the mystery shadow man i just met
"Hes weird, i don't know what hes even talking about...but he said i can level up infinitely now, instead of the max ten thousand lvls for every human, weird..."
I stretch up and wince slightly, the left side of my body aching because while the adrenaline was pumping while fighting the goblins, i got smacked right on the side with a club... Made my shit slip out faster.. its a win i guess...
"I should go train, and finally go back home in three days." I say to myself, getting up and heading to the gym and sword training hall, i do my normal workouts, my right arm still stronger than my left, for private reasons... Only clue ill give that im still a teenager with hormones!
"This soreness is absolutely wrecking me...i should rest..." Its weird that i actually wanted to rest... Or just an excuse to slack off.
I head back to the barracks after eating the bread that's so stale that you can break stones with... Although it did prove quite useful for a biting attack... But then i hear a loud bang on the door "oh shit.. shes here..." Commander irdia barges in screaming at everyone to get up and stop sleeping, shes a redhead with teal eyes, eyes that... I absolutely despise. I would rather be tortured by the cruel dragon than catch feelings for her.
"GET THE HELL UP MAGGOTS!" She yells out as everyone jolts up and immediately gets into attention " there has been alot of activity in the mines doungen, some of you will be picked to go to this mission wether you like it or not!" Knowing my phenomenal luck, bad when i actually need it, i get picked first.
One day later...
I stand gritting my teeth jn absolute frustration, she put me up into the frontlines for a doungen that high ranked adventurers go missing in... That little bitch...
"Theres no point in even trying to go through this quickly, ill just try my best to survive... But my body has been feeling way lighter since the encounter with... What should i call him? Ah yes! Big strong black man.. no wait... Ill just call him shadow guy instead.."
I then hear the order to go in and start walking towards the doungen gate "damn it all..if they want a fight ill give em a fight!" I charge into the gate with newfound confidence "its only two days till i see my family again, and finally quit being a mercenary for this witch, i knew it was too good to be true for such high pay!"
I walk through the cold doungen floors, "this place is pretty creepy... It sure will be really bad if some big monster was directly abo-" i look up and just stare at the gigantic spider "speak of the devil..."
I ready my stance, and trying to test out whatever ability that shadow guy gave me... My body then moves at an incredible speed dodging easily through the spiders webs "i feel so good... Light as a feather, i shall not tether and wether i win or n- what the hell am i talking about?" I must have felt TOO good, i guess...
I then lunge forward attacking it with my own attack and manage to cut off one of its legs and starts to rapidly lay eggs that hatch into batches of little poisonous spiders "go to hell with your cheap tricks..." I slash once again, taking two of its right legs and jump back
"These little shits are more dangerous than the mother itself, but if i kill the mother they all de agro for some reason..." I dash to the left and get a good angle at its vital spot "time to let my magic rip.. FIREBALL!" A ball of fire shoots out of my hand and pirces right through the spider, i watch as it crumbles lifelessly to the ground "ugh..."
The day passes by in a flick, ive lost touch of time with leveling up so much... "Im now at level...247, i can see why shadow guy gave me how many years again? Two or three? Eh.. nevermind it."
I walk out of the doungen, seemingly soloing it and coming it way more powerful than i entered.. i also got an item from the spider
"Spiders fang, when equipped gives you a 20% damage multiplayer and a 15% speed and attack speed boost" lucky me!
