"Looks like im not the only one leaving today huh..." I turn around clutching the big bag of gold. "Hes right, at least the pay was good." I turn to the training hall trying to find a lab ra- i mean sparring partner to test my abilitys on.
" Is it just me or has the path to the training hall gotten shorter? Meh its probably because of the spiders fang i got yesterday..." I look around in the hall and spot the prodigy child rubus, weird name... But hes a noble so of course its normal... "He Rubus!" I yell out.
Rubus pov
"Hm? Is someone calling me? I say with a disdainful tone, how dare a pathetic peasant shout for me!" I then feel a pair of gloves slap right into my face. "Oh i see how it is, orphan moon."
I look at moon as he speaks "and how would you come to the conclusion that in an orpahn, rubus... Don't you think that's a far fetch?" He says, i grin at him and say "then how come we've never even heard of your family?" Moon visibly tightens the grip on his sword

Moon's pov
This guy is some serious provoker... "Can you shut it while we get to the arena? Its my last day here.. better make it worthwhile." I say mockingly as we walk towards the sparring arena
"Alright then." Rubus says in his usual annoying tone, i somehow endure his provocative words till we reach the arena "get ready, little bitch of the shing sho house or whatever its called."
Rubus gets angry at the intentional mocking of his family and gets angry "how dare you! Ill make sure you pay!"
He then lunges forward trying to catch me off gaurd
"Quite eager for wanting to get your ass handed to you kid, you've got some serious bravado." I counter his sloppy lunge and kick him in the chest "c'mon, get up and make me pay..." He then gets up and uses magic to amplify his body "trying to kill me now? Thats rude don't you think?" I say as i dodge his stupid swings that even my grandmas ashes can dodge
"Ill KILL YOU!" he screams out, swinging his blade wiledy.
"Yeah c'mon come get me! I wanna die today" i say mockingly. And then I quickly sheath my sword and spind behind him, catching him off gaurd and i hit the back of his head with the handle of my sword
"I expected more..." I say more to myself... Probably because the guy is knocked out cold on the ground...
"ANYWAY!" I yell out enthusiasticly whilest running towards the checkout "yes please, i would like to leave today." I say to the receptionst, who was... Creeped out by the white haired dude who's strangely excited to leave his job...
I pack all my belongings, or.. whats left of them and head out for the main gate. Untill i hear a feminine voice call out to me..."Wait! Moon.. before you go..." I look behind me and its... Noor Verdigold!!? The esteemed daughter of the spear hero that killed the great dragon of the north "Noor? What is it" i ask in a confused tone.
Noors pov
"Oh my god oh my god, i can't believe im doing this!" I think to myself, looking at moon dead in the eyes, my crush since the very first day of seeing him at this Mercenary camp.
"Moon wait, before you go!" I yell out behind him...
I watch as he turns around slowly and confused, with that cute confused expression.. its even harder now! "Ive been meaning to tell you something...since the last two months of this Mercenary camp." I tell him in a scared, shy tone "well what is it you wanna say?" He says with a smirk. "Well... Ive h-had a big big c-crush on you...since well... Y'know.. uhm, we enrolled at this camp!"
Moons pov
"What the actual fuck." I think to myself, "the daughter of the spear hero has a crush on ME?" I say in a mildly amused and curious tone.
"Yeah, ive been dying to tell you, moon. But, i was scared ill get r-rejected..." She says while blushing, looking at the ground with a red face "well, probably when you're older, im too old for you!" I tell her, clearly not wanting to get into trouble for doing ANYTHING with a heros daughter... Much as one as strong and famous as the spear hero...
"We're only two years apart!" She exclaims, clearly not backing down but still blushing.
"Alright alright, fine... I like you back, alot... I just don't want to get in trouble with your father."
"Its fine! Don't worry.. ill make sure to keep it a big big secret between us!" She says confidently. "And what if we get found out" i ask, she clearly wasn't expecting this "i uhm...uhh, i will make sure you don't get into trouble..."
"Sure..." I say in a sarcastic tone "anyway, i should get going my family is wai-" i then get cut off with her lips on mine, my first kiss. "Ehh!?!!" I yelp out clearly shocked, and... Happy.. at the same time "this seals it, were together now. Wether you like it or not." She says proudly "and ill be visiting your hometown in a month anyway..."
"Alright alright, fine... We're together now, somehow..." I turn my back around and walk away with two words repeating over and over again... "Holy shit fuck.."
