Chapter 10: Connecting with the Original Plot

Half an hour later.
The brilliant sunlight spilled across the sea, gilding the sailboat on its surface.
"Mmm... I'm so full!" Luffy lay on the deck in a "spread-eagle" position with his big belly sticking out, looking completely satisfied.
He squinted, gazing at the slowly drifting blue sky and white clouds, letting the gentle sea breeze caress his cheeks.
His thoughts drifted back to a few days ago.
Ever since he went out to sea from Windmill Village, he encountered a whirlpool. He had no choice but to climb into a wooden barrel and float on the sea for several days.
The first person he saw when he burst out of the barrel was Coby.
Unfortunately, after only a day, he ran into the person he least wanted to see: his grandfather, Garp.
Fortunately, he managed to escape and sailed away from Shells Town in the small boat he had stolen from Alvida.
Then... he encountered a vortex again.
He climbed back into the barrel.
This time, however, his luck seemed to have improved considerably.
He was discovered in less than a day, and by two of the crew members he had decided to look for!
"Hey, after you've eaten your fill, all you do is lie there. You don't even bother to pick up the bird feathers on the ground. That woman said she was going to collect them and sell them."
A muffled voice came from beside him.
The speaker was Zoro, who was engrossed in his daily training, repeatedly swinging a heavy barbell with his arms, beads of sweat sliding down his muscular physique.
"What kind of bird feathers?"
In no time, Luffy's belly had visibly shrunk.
He sat up abruptly, his face full of curiosity.
"Of course it's the pink bird feathers on the ground. She said those feathers might be valuable," Zoro replied without looking up as he continued his workout.
These feathers naturally came from the pink monster that almost carried Luffy away.
After being shot down by Ganyu's arrow, it became a sumptuous barbecue feast for the three of them. Most of it ended up in Luffy's stomach, and now only a few scattered feathers remained.
"Oh..." Luffy lowered his head, picked up a soft pink feather, and examined it closely.
Suddenly, his eyes lit up.
"If we sell these, can we buy a big ship?"
"How could that be? They're just some bird feathers. Even if they're rare, they're only worth a few tens of thousands of Berries at most."
"How much is tens of thousands of Berries?"
"It's not enough for one meal, anyway." Zoro switched hands to lift the barbell, a look of anticipation in his eyes. "But it could buy a few bottles of good wine."
Inside the cabin.
The blue-haired girl lay quietly on her side on the bed, one hand gently supporting her chin, the other holding a book, reading silently.
She seemed completely absorbed.
But in reality, her ears were secretly picking up every word of conversation coming from the deck, and a faint smile unconsciously curved her lips.
The relationship between these two seems to be getting better and better.
Compared to their initial confrontation, Zoro's attitude towards Luffy was noticeably much better.
However, it still fell short of the original work.
They still needed a catalyst to truly accept each other.
"Help!"
"Help us!"
Suddenly, several shrill cries for help shattered the tranquility of the sea.

Upon hearing these cries, a corresponding scene from the original story immediately came to Ganyu's mind.
Ganyu's lips unconsciously curled up slightly.
She closed the book, calmly stood up, and with a long-awaited smile, slowly walked out of the cabin.
Finally. It's aligned with the original storyline!
"Hey, Zoro, can you hear someone yelling for help?"
"It seems so..."
"Hey, there are three guys who fell into the water!" Luffy quickly pinpointed the location and said:
"Let's get them out of there!"
"Wait," Zoro said, reaching out to stop him.
He squinted and carefully examined the three figures struggling in the water.
A moment later, he sneered. "Look closely. Those three guys... are pirates."
As everyone knows, the greatest danger on this sea is pirates.
Even though he was now a pirate himself, it didn't stop him from having a long-standing prejudice against them.
"Wouldn't that be even more interesting?"
However, upon hearing this, Luffy's eyes lit up with excitement, and he immediately stretched out a rubber arm to pull the three of them up.
The moment Ganyu stepped out of the cabin, she happened to see this scene and came face to face with the three rescued pirates.
As expected, she saw three pairs of greedy, lustful, and malicious eyes.
Ganyu was used to it. Almost every pirate had the same expression when they saw her.
"Yo, Ganyu, you're out!" Luffy flashed an astonishing smile upon seeing his only crew member who currently acknowledged him.
"Look, I've rescued three interesting guys."
"Interesting? But they look like pirates, Luffy." Ganyu walked over to Luffy and Zoro, keeping a distance from the three men.
"They don't just look like pirates, they are pirates," Zoro corrected, giving the three of them a cold glance.
He noticed the mischievous looks in their eyes.
After vomiting mouthfuls of seawater, the three drowning pirates finally recovered. Then, almost simultaneously, they drew their blades and said in a threatening tone:
"That's right! We're Buggy the Clown's henchmen!"
"If you know what's good for you, stop the ship! Your ship is ours now, and... that woman behind you belongs to us too!"
The three of them looked past Luffy and Zoro, their gazes fixed greedily on Ganyu.
This is an absolutely stunning woman. Offering her to Lord Buggy will surely bring a great reward!
"I told you, this is the consequence of rescuing them." Zoro shook his head, picked up a blade, and slowly approached the three pirates.
"You guys want to steal my crew? Did you even ask my opinion?!" Luffy clenched his fists and approached the three men with a furious expression.
Ganyu is my only crew member right now, and these three guys actually want to take her away!
Immediately afterwards, screams echoed across the sea.
"Hahahaha! So it's the legendary 'Pirate Hunter' and 'Frost Arrow'... Sorry, we were too arrogant!"
"This is such a huge misunderstanding! If we had known it was you, we wouldn't have dared... hahaha... Please stop hitting us!"
"Please spare us! We'll never do it again!"
