Chapter 13 - Culling

In the eerie silence, gunshots suddenly rang out from outside.

The appearance of the gunshots broke the silence, and the planetary governor, planetary general, and others immediately stood up and reached for their waists.

Fortunately, they easily drew their bolters; Noah hadn't disarmed them at all, or rather, he didn't even care for those things.

Frankly speaking, even if Noah wore nothing and just stood there, letting them shoot him with bolters or meltaguns, he wouldn't feel a thing.

The gap between them was like an adult standing still while you, a tiny ant, could be crushed with a flick of a finger.

Even if you attacked the other party with all your might, they would, at most, feel a slight sting.

If you were unlucky enough to encounter those with thick skin and flesh, there wouldn't be any sensation at all.

For Noah, it was precisely like this; he didn't care about any resistance from these fellow humans, for this was the way of the strong.

After these people drew their weapons and assumed defensive stances, Noah unhurriedly brought up his holographic surveillance, and soon he discovered a large number of individuals outside his house.

Some were local Gangs, holding various chaotic weapons like automatic rifles or laser guns, and even a few lumber guns.

Regarding such weapons, Noah could only smile.

Just as Noah thought the Gangs' weapons were abstract enough, he saw something new.

There were also some people holding melee weapons, shouting things like "Blood Sacrifice to the Blood God, Offer Skulls to the Skull Throne."

Noah could understand the Gangs, but those shouting about "Blood Sacrifice to the Blood God" were different.

At first glance, Noah felt very uncomfortable.

He smelled a very bloody Warp Chaos aura.

This Warp power made him feel very uneasy.

This discomfort had nothing to do with anything else; it was a feeling of disgust.

Yes, it was disgust, extreme disgust, as if something unclean had appeared before him.

"Attacking me proactively? Although I took some of your trash, your active attack on a federation citizen is undoubtedly a capital offense."

Noah, who had always maintained a very gentlemanly and peaceful demeanor, had a change in expression at this moment.

His expression became very stern, making him seem like one of those from the Adeptus Arbites, declaring the law.

A powerful aura emanated from him, making the surrounding Imperium of Man officials feel threatened and fearful.

However, this aura came and went quickly; Noah soon reined it in, as he promptly remembered that there were still some fellow humans around him.

They were exceptionally weak.

If he truly unleashed his power without restraint in their presence, these people would probably not survive.

But to let those invaders and those existences that made him feel so disgusted go, Noah was also very displeased.

Therefore, he issued an order to the surrounding Servo-Automatons.

"Kill! Kill them all! Kill all these things, all invaders are to be killed without mercy!"

Upon receiving the order, the Mechanical Legion soldiers who had been standing around Noah quickly sprang into action.

The weapons these soldiers carried were standard federation light spear guns.

Although these light spear guns had been phased out for a long time, they were still very effective when clearing out local natives on certain planets and beasts on federation colony planets.

400 Servo-Automatons, indistinguishable in appearance from normal people, began to move, striding out of the house where Noah was located.

400 Mechanical Legion soldiers against over 200,000 Gangs and blood god cultists!

Undoubtedly, this was a massacre, a one-sided slaughter. The 200,000 Gangs and those heretics were utterly meaningless in the face of these 400 Mechanical Legion soldiers.

Each shot from a light spear gun could directly melt hundreds or even thousands of people; nothing could withstand its light spear.

Everyone hit by a light spear gun would instantly turn into a puddle, then be vaporized by the powerful energy purification of the light spear.

Even those Cultists who had received Khorne's blessings, despite their great resistance to ranged attacks, would still be pierced through, hitting dozens or even hundreds of targets with a single shot.

The slaughter began—

Facing the massacre before them, the planetary governor and the planetary general both swallowed hard.

The Archbishop of the Ecclesiarchy, however, watched the cultists being killed and felt an unprecedented sense of relief, and the Inquisition felt the same way.

The one from the Adeptus Arbites also felt the same; how satisfying it was to see heretics eliminated before her eyes?

It was this point that softened their gazes towards Noah considerably; although this fellow slandered the God-Emperor, he was still somewhat loyal.

After all, this slanderous fellow was now personally eliminating the God-Emperor's enemies; didn't that prove his loyalty?

He must have been led astray by someone; they needed to correct him.

When this thought appeared in the minds of these few people, they found it incredibly absurd just a few seconds later.

However, no matter what they were thinking or what ideas they had, Noah directly ignored them.

His eyes remained fixed on the virtual screen in front of him, watching those individuals who made him feel so uncomfortable being continuously slaughtered, and Noah's mood gradually improved.

When he saw the last Khorne cultist eliminated, Noah finally nodded in satisfaction.

"Clap clap," he clapped his hands twice, once again drawing the attention of the Imperium of Man's high officials back to him.

"Please excuse me, I offended some local Gangs on this planet.

Their warehouse contained some things I needed, so I requested some from them; this is their retaliation against me."

As the saying goes, the speaker has no intention, but the listener takes it to heart. When the planetary governor heard this, his first reaction was not to ponder the meaning of Noah's words, but rather to start considering the problem of these Gangs below.

Previously, regarding matters of these Underhive fellows and Gangs, to be honest, as an Upper Hive planetary governor, he had no interest in managing them at all.

But now it was different; cultists had appeared before him.

The appearance of cultists was no ordinary matter; if they were allowed to develop and then host a large-scale Chaos ritual, it was very possible that a planet of the Imperium of Man could be destroyed, and that could not be allowed.

The planetary governor's gaze swept over the others; the people from the Ecclesiarchy, Adeptus Arbites, and Inquisition all nodded to him, understanding each other's meaning.

They had a premonition that Noah probably wouldn't do anything to them.

They would definitely be able to return, and the first thing they would do upon returning would be to exterminate these cultists.

Noah watched these people exchange glances from the side, not interrupting them.

For him, it didn't matter; he only needed to know where he was in the universe. As for what these fellows were thinking, it was irrelevant.

Once he returned to the federation and the federation's army arrived, this place would all fall under federation jurisdiction.

These matters were naturally not for him to manage.
