Chapter 1 - Unknown Entity

Crack—BOOM!

Thunder roared across the sky.

A faint glimpse of the city of Norus flashed between the storm clouds before darkness swallowed it again.

Inside one rundown apartment, a small, gloomy room sat in near darkness, lit only by a tiny square window. The room was suffocatingly cramped—piles of old books and cracked stationery boxes cluttered every corner. A broken study desk leaned crookedly against the wall, and a narrow bed nearby was buried under scattered papers and scribbled notes. The air smelled of damp wood and dust that hadn't been disturbed in days.

In the farthest corner, Perun sat on the cold floor, curled in on himself. His knees pulled to his chest. He cried quietly, biting his lip to muffle the sobs, tears rolling freely down his cheeks. His eyes looked tired—tired of the room, tired of the world, tired of everything.

For a long moment, he just sat there…

until something changed.

He slowly lifted his head, a thought burning behind his exhausted eyes. He wiped his tears with a shaky hand and pushed himself to his feet. Moving toward the window, he stared outside at the storm. His reflection stared back at him—young, defeated, but simmering with anger.

Then he shouted, voice cracking:

"Ahh! I didn't do anything wrong… yet this world still treats me like garbage! If I ever get the chance—if fate gives me even a single moment—I'll destroy this world. I'll f**king tear it all down!"

His voice was soaked in rage and hatred, as if he were cursing something far beyond the walls of the room—cursing the universe itself. The thunder outside felt quiet compared to the storm in his chest.

But then… it faded.

The boy's shoulders slumped, his anger collapsing into the same hopelessness he had felt moments earlier. He lowered his head, eyebrows tightening with frustration.

"Hah…" he breathed, voice weak.

"But what can I do? I'm just… too weak."

The room fell silent again.

Only the soft pattering of rain against the window remained, as if the world outside didn't care—just like it always had.

The storm outside grew even more violent. Fierce winds howled like beasts, and lightning carved jagged scars across the night sky. Yet Perun's expression remained just as fierce—cold, harsh, and unforgiving, like a blizzard trapped in human form.

Minutes passed as he continued staring out of the small window, the rain break in the room as relentless waves through it. His eyes were distant, as if were searching for answers somewhere beyond the storm.

Then—

A voice.

A divine voice.

It echoed through the clouds above the city of Norus, deep and resonant, as if the heavens themselves were speaking.

The sky churned, twisting the storm into a spiraling vortex. From within that violent maelstrom, a mysterious presence took shape—a figure descending rapidly through the rain and thunder, heading straight toward Perun's tiny room.

Perun froze.

With wide eyes, he realized something was coming—no, someone. His body reacted before his mind did, and he rushed to close the window, but—

Too late.

The unidentified entity burst through with a crash of wind and rain, slamming directly into Perun, knocking him backward. His head struck the floor, and darkness swallowed his senses.

For a moment Perun is mesmerize by darkness in himself

Moments later…

A hand shook his shoulder.

Then again—harder.

"Wake up," a deep voice murmured.

Perun's eyelids twitched. His whole body ached, especially the back of his head.

"Ahh… it hurts…" he groaned, slowly opening his eyes.

To his shock, there's a man stood over him. Black hair slicked from the rain, sharp eyes, and an expression neither hostile nor friendly.

Perun's instincts kicked in. He scrambled backward and shouted:

"W–Who the hell are you?! And how did you come flying through my window?!"

The stranger didn't flinch. Instead, he answered calmly, almost casually:

"My name is Vaelor. I am a fragment of a supreme power, and I come from a realm far beyond this world." He paused, looking directly into Perun's eyes.

"Now… tell me about yourself."
