Everyone turned to look at the young man who was at the entrance again, when he saw the confusion, he caused he began to laugh and went in until he came face to face with Shiko.
-Light: Wow! So, you're the core that's supposed to save us from this whole mess!
-Dreik: Damn... From the forest I felt your wave, but I thought it was my imagination, now I know that you have abandoned your position with the other three... You should have watched the island!
-Light: Hahaha! Yes, yes, as you say... I was very bored and well, meh... I can't stand being with that trio... I see that you are in a battle, I think it's funny! Can I participate?
-Shiko: Eh... The guardian is sitting and waiting to continue while you speak... we must end this.
-Hargon: At this rate I will go crazy for black magic! Do you remember that my HP goes down little by little because I'm poisoned? I mean, I do constantly regenerate myself, but it is still uncomfortable...
-Lyn: See!?
-Light: Stand aside everyone, let me fight alone with our savior!
-Everyone: Huh...?
-Light: They don't want to let me into the fight... what an obnoxious people.
-Dreik: Ahg! If you think you both can do it alone, that's fine!
-Shiko: Eh...
-Light: That's how you talk! Get ready "savior", you will see how powerful my beam is!
Having said this, the others decided to retreat and not get in the way, Dreik gave part of his power to Shiko again so that he would have his "Boost" again that for the lost time had been spent. Then, once they were ready to start again, Light began to emanate his magic throughout his body to which powerful beams began to come out of his hands.
"This is the magic of the dragon, which I control. I can control the lightning at will!"
Without letting more time pass, the guardian began to shoot multiple bolts from his mouth to prevent his enemies from moving, causing them to constantly dodge attacks. As they continued to dodge, they took more and more steps forward, so Shiko had a chance to use "Dashing" quickly aiming at Hargon. When Light saw such a move, he threw lightning bolts at Shiko so that they would be directed at his sword and the damage when hitting Hargon would be doubled.
Once he fell to hurt the guardian, he dodged the attack, but the bolts that were in the sword began to chase him until they reached him and electrocuted him, reducing a good percentage of his HP giving him another chance to attack Light since the guardian was immobile. The young man used one of his techniques -Light Claw! - thus landing another strong blow leaving Hargon in critical condition.
-Alba: That guy... he's too strong, too different from you Dreik.
-Dreik: Although his element is one of the most difficult to control, once he learns how to handle it, he will be a monster at fighting. He gets everything, strength, critical magic, speed, he's an unstoppable beast.
-Lyn: Do you think he would have easily defeated Ghusty?
-Dreik: Jhm... I wouldn't say easy, but if I had been able to fight him on a par with him, one thing I'm sure of is that Ghusty is twice as strong as Hargon.
Very desperate for his situation, Hargon carried all the magic he could into his mouth and threw it at Light. The young man charged the electricity from his hand and when the guardian's attack hit him, all the enemy magic was dispelled only by his hand, leaving everyone very surprised by the young man's power.
In his utmost desperation, Hargon manipulated all the water in the lake outside the temple, causing it to form a huge tsunami, leaving those inside with little choice.
-Lyn: Everyone get closer to me; I'm going to use all my defense so that you don't get hurt by this attack!
-Shiko: Lyn, it's dangerous for you alone to be the shield!
-Lyn: It's my job, so come at once!
-Shiko: I'm going to try to split the huge wave to lower the power as much as I can, you protect them.
-Light: Good for you! Because I'm not going to let myself be swallowed by that! Hahahaha, Good luck!
Light went to shield himself with Lyn and the others and as soon as the huge wave entered, Shiko cut the wind with a huge blow he made with the sword, taking out a huge gust made with almost all his magic which hit the wave powerfully, causing it to split. But this was not enough, the power of this one was too much to which it still impacted with the others. Lyn used her last ability to show -Defend Waves! - making every impact and damage that others received go directly to her, thus receiving almost five times the damage. All the water came out and both Lyn and Shiko were left in critical condition from such a blow. Alba immediately used healing magic on both, but while Shiko was being recovered, Hargon saw him motionless and attacked him. Alba used her magic -Move: Forward! - the sorceress appeared in front of Shiko and activated a magic shield to hold off the guardian's powerful blow.
"Shiko, hurry up... I've given you enough healing so that you can think of something".
Alba did not resist the attack, to which her shield broke and she was injured by a critical blow from Hargon's claws leaving a large wound in her stomach.
"Damn it, I knew that letting yourself be overconfident was not a good idea" Dreik rose to combat to take Alba and take her to a safe place in the temple where she could not be affected by the battle next to Lyn who was seriously injured.
Shiko, very furious at this without having any idea how to do it, screamed loudly and from his mouth came a lightning bolt which was made of total darkness being too fast and powerful for Hargon who was able to dodge it, but without being unharmed. The lightning struck Hargon's left arm, sending it into the air. After this last breath, Shiko fell to the ground without any more magic, causing his momentary transformation to disappear – Light, Dreik... continue- was the last thing he said before falling to the ground tired.
Alba, despite being injured, used her magic once again -Move: Change! - and swapped the places of Shiko and Light, so that he replaced him in combat.
-Dreik: Alba, what do you plan to do? Rest, you're very hurt!
-Alba: I will not feel satisfied if I decide to rest, while I am conscious I plan to help as I can... I'll focus on regenerating Shiko so that he can return to combat.
-Light: Well, you take care of it! Admittedly, it was an oversight on my part, but I'm not going to let it happen again.
While they agreed on how to coordinate, Hargon screamed in pain for his lost arm, to which he lost his head due to the fury that enveloped him, then suddenly two magic holes opened –Y-you are going to pay for this! Double Hydrobeam!- from these holes came huge beams made of water with high pressure which were directed at Light, the very confident young man only raised one of his hands with which he began to create a magic ball full of lightning, he closed his fist and then opened it raising his arm in the direction of Hargon -Sublime Thunder!- and from this came huge blue lightning that collided with the powerful rays of Hargon causing a huge ball of magic full of water and lightning to form in the middle of these two and when colliding it caused a huge explosion inside the temple. The explosion greatly affected Hargon and Light, causing both to receive the impact and get hurt, to which Lyn, with his last strength, used "Cross defend" To deflect the impact that was aimed at Alba and Shiko.
Once the explosion was over, Lyn fell completely fainted. Alba very desperate not knowing who to heal, chose to heal Lyn who was in a serious state due to all the pain endured.
"Damn it... I hope Alba hurries, now I feel that I need this savior."
Light felt very hurt, so he needed help from Shiko, to which he recalled:
-Come to think of it, where the hell is Dreik?
He turned around and could see that he was carrying a huge ball of magic which he had created with the water he was able to absorb from Hargon's powers.
"Get out of the way, it's my turn to shine".
Then Dreik launched the entire attack like a powerful lightning bolt impacting it against the guardian, who being seriously injured could do nothing but receive the full power of the attack being totally defeated by Dreik's power.
Hargon fell to his knees, at which he began to fade into a golden light... and with his last breath he said to the teens:
-You all have... accomplished it... thanks to you the chosen one does not carry all the weight... I think that he could not be better accompanied...
Unable to bear to be on his knees, he fell to the ground as he said his last words, meanwhile the golden light made him disappear.
"My brother... My brother told me that I could put all my trust in the saviors of this world... he... I'm glad he was right... there are few warriors left so don't give up... continue to get stronger...".
And then... he smiled. Hargon flashed a smile before fading away completely. In the place where the guardian disappeared there were bags of experience, a very strange crystalline material called "Moondrop", and another object called "Sea Snake Leather".
Shiko got up while feeling frustrated, to which he said:
-All this time... whether they wanted to or not... what I have done is to take the lives of these beings who love their world... and that because of that miserable that is affecting him, they will not be able to continue living for the... whether I finish them off with the final blow or not... they fight for me... to prove me... When I realized this about being the savior I felt heavy... I felt that they forced me, but now I know how hard they try, I know all their determination... to you, to Hydra and to the other guardians who have cared for their land, as the chosen one that I am.
The others watched him and just fell silent... once the time passed, Dreik showed his water powers that can regenerate, helping Alba with Light, Shiko, and Lyn's serious injuries thus causing them to become stable.
Once everyone woke up, they saw each other and congratulated each other.
-Shiko: Damn it, you really are a strong girl, Lyn.
-Lyn: I'm sorry I wasn't very helpful in the last fight, so I had to do my best!
-Alba: I'm also surprised by you Lyn, I wish I had that resistance.
-Light: Hahahaha! Wasn't it fun?
-Dreik: How can you take this as a game?
-Light: These girls surprise me, I hope that the others are just as surprising as them, because there are more, right?
-Dreik: Ahg... you never pay attention... And yes, there are more members.
-Shiko: good, with those bags of experience we will improve a lot.
As they talked, Asuka communicated with Shiko via telekinesis:
-Shiko! I'm Asuka! Let's meet in the remains of the Humble City, there together with the others I will take you to the new place that Zene showed us to rest. I will be waiting!
They then decided to teleport to the site and meet Asuka...
