Chapter 8 - Shepherd’s Thread

I draped my skin ---- shepherd's thread,

Black wool stitched the new dress ---

Tight as when angel's bled.

No wings remained, not a scar for days,

Fire had kissed my holy face.

.

Bird feathers stitched the dresses back

My purified cradle, large and intact,

An ivory dresser, candlelit,

Mother Mary's portrait is silent as it.

My staff holds a black crystal ball,

I see all.

.

Translucent, glowy, and radiant,

perfection and enlightenment ----

Eyes were white as pearl

and dark as coal,

This made a fractured girl:

All love and wrath intertwined

Guiding the guilty along this line.

.

I am the ruler,

no one shrewer.

This is my new form,

mortals, you shall mourn.

Shepherd's thread is my new identity,

Kingdom come, forge your destiny.

.

My Shepherd Thread encloses my frame,

Nay, nay, humans, my holy name -----

is one people will gasp when spoken,

righteous and all, a herd's devotion.

.

Neither Heaven nor Hell,

Look farther down the well,

your fright makes you stay the night,

Remember me when you blame the right.
