Landon came to a luxurious café. The environment was quiet and welcoming, the soft aroma of roasted coffee mixing in the air. Landon sat at the reserved table. He was excited and nervous at the same time.
This meeting meant everything. If today went well, his financial troubles would finally end. Investors had declined him before, but this one, the mysterious name his assistant had secured an appointment with, was rumored to be powerful enough to turn his failing business into a thriving one.
Landon inhaled sharply, trying to calm the tornado of hope and fear twisting inside his chest. He checked the project file again, flipping through the plans and projections he and his team had been working on for all those days. He believed the investor would like this business plan and would be ready to invest in it.
