On this day, the 246th day of the 1319th year of the Volarian Calender, Gareth De Glass. Due to only taking the dragon shape during battles, outside the kingdom, only the dead knew the truth. His mother Antoinette, was a true beauty, her long silver hair cascades down her her figure, barely concealing her perfectly sculpted figure. Today is a grand celebration, due to dragons laying eggs, there is no risky labor, or exhausted mother, no Today is the day Gareth hatches, and the entire kingdom celebrates.
In the grand ballroom, a few hours after Gareth's first cries echo into the world, all the kingdoms royalty gather, to meet the new Prince. His bloodline merges the two most powerful houses within the dragon species, and now the celebrations are in order.
In a small room the human king, Charles gathers with his top advisors to meet with Lucian. (the dragon king, although the other kingdoms assume he is human also)
Charles explains that his wife is now pregnant, and they will soon have a daughter, there other 2 children are sons, and so to form an alliance against the Dwarven clan Ny'thuls a marriage pact is formed, Gareth is betrothed to Rebecca, the unborn princess.
Outside the kingdom, the dwarves build deadly ballista, and various killing machines, they often plunder nearby kingdoms like pirates. This world is vast, roughly 300 times larger then Earth, and there are various races and sub races spread throughout the world. Our kingdom of dragons is simply named the kingdom of Glass, after the ruling families surname. This is the last stronghold of dragons, and dragons are thought to be extinct. Possessing powers innate to their race, they are a formidable power, and a millenia ago they ruled the world, until their pride caused the world to rebel, and their race became hunted to the brink of extinction, their allies the elves turned their back in their hour of need and hid in their forest strongholds. As we explore Gareths journey, we will meet many interesting races and characters, let's explore together.
