"Butler Joyce, please tell the coachman to prepare a carriage and inform him that I need to go to the city."
It was after a long time that she was travelling in a carriage. This time her purpose was different to go to the city was different too.
"Also, if Sophia arrives before I reach back to the castle please escort her to the council meeting room, it is her first time there. I will see that I reach the castle sooner."
She went to her room, wore casual clothes and a hood to cover to herself.
The carriage was ready to leave and was kept ready outside the castle.
Dani came with a hood covering her face and wearing some casual clothes and entered the carriage.
The carriage left the castle gate.
She instructed the coachman to park it at an alley before the central plaza as she was going to walk till the plaza.
Dani arrived at the central plaza, it was going to be noon soon, so everyone was at their homes and temporary camps probably resting.
Her purpose was different this time, she had gone for some serious enquiry and negotiations.
Yes, she had gone to meet the imperial family faction and the remaining demon faction.
She had previously rented a shop via Joyce for few hours at the central plaza and alsp sent the invitations through him.
She entered the shop and they were already present there sitting around a round wooden table.
An old man, the prime minister of the previous imperial family stood up and a demon representing the other demons noticed her presence.

"No, we arrived before time , you can address us as Romero and ….yes you can call me Az."
Both of them said to call them by their names.
"Well, if you say so…I wanted to discuss something important with you both, Romero did you not bring along lady Sera with you."
"Why would I bring along that person along with me to discuss the matters of the imperial family."
I thought the imperial family has dissolved after the formation of Memoria, but their attitudes are still the same towards lady Sera. I should have brought Sarah along to show her all this, for now let us focus on the agenda.
Dani thought to herself.
"Ronald and Az, as you know Rica and deux's crimes are too huge to forgive them , so I want to ask your stand and whether you all were involved in the death of the empress.
Ronald, you used to serve the king and you must have been aware of the plans the king made, so you must have supported his idea.

These were some serious accusations without any solid proof, but were necessary in order to increase the fighting force against the cruelmancer.

Both of them were nervous and did not know what to say as they had heard the punishment of deux's execution.
They suddenly become polite.
"Lady dani, Even if I was the part of the imperial family, the king never shared this sensitive detail with me. And you know how much I loathe that women and her daughter. It was because the king favoured her and made her the crown princess that we were bound to follow her."

Though dani was unware of their estranged relationship, his words unknowingly spewed hatred for deuxa.

Dani, she was more cunning than those two could think of, she directly said something which they could not refute as refusal would only mean they had a hand in the empress's death , so they could be punished along with deux.
She said with a smile on her face as though indirectly saying she won the rounds of negotiation.
"A carriage will come to take you both , you are expected to come to the castle in the evening for the meeting."
Both of their faces were worth seeing, they had come to ask for something profitable for themselves but dani did not give them a chance to speak.
She left the shop and was walking to the alley where the carriage was parked.
From behind a voice came, "Lady…is it you lady dani?"
A familiar voice, who might it be, she looked behind to see who it was..
"Lady Sera, is that you, how come you are here."
"I heard Sir Ronald speaking and came immediately here, Take me to castle please…"

"It is very necessary for me to meet Sarah, please allow me to meet her, I will leave as soon as I talk to her, I promise."
Well, if it is for Sarah I guess there is no harm in taking her along with me.
"You can come with me in this carriage, but do not speak with me unless necessary."

They both got inside the carriage and left for the castle.

Yes, dani was curious too, so she did not stop Sera but did act like she was not interested at all, typical dani's childish behaviour.

It was quite evident that dani was acting uninterested so Sera chuckled a bit.
"Lady dani, people are quite curious as to why deux's execution did not take place, they all believe him to be the on who caused the death of the empress. This is going on since morning."
Well dani had not forgotten that act, they still need deux so the plan of executing him would be postponed a bit head. Dani had to wait till the evening when both Ronald and Az come to the castle to announce this to all the citizens. It was a necessary action to be taken.
"Lady Sera, we will reach the castle soon."
In reply to the rumor , dani just said this.
Sera chuckled again, she was quite aware of dani's personality.
They entered the castle gate and went towards the castle. The coachman stopped the carriage in front of the castle.
"Sir knight, you are to escort her to lady Sarah, she must be in the training room. Give them some privacy and after she finishes her talk take her back outside the castle in the carriage."
"Understood , lady dani."
It was already noon , she got a bit late so she hurriedly went upstairs to the meeting room.
While going upstairs she saw the knight captain Luke meaning she also must have arrived.
She opened the door to see her alright and in a good condition.
"You must be tired lady Sophia, after such a long journey. Thank you for doing this for me."
"Oh , Lady dani , it was my pleasure, I hope you got the letter."
"Yes, it almost gave me a heartache thinking you all must be in danger."
"Oh, I am sorry if it gave you any trouble, but I thought it was better to tell you of my return."
"Let us sit and continue our conversation."
"Also, thank you for sending the one of the knights with the magical seal, without it would have been unable for us to enter Vasta. It is great that the barrier is fixed now, no one can leave or enter the city now."
