Chapter 8 - Warrior 5: Dragon vs Warrior 2

"Dun Dun Boom Boom" more explosions went along the way, and destructions rain upon the mountain before even the rain of snow could. Ethan and the Dragon were seen falling from the peak of the mountain, and both were in a momentary frenzy exchange of attacks with either their giant limbs and sword. Sparks flew off, scales chip away, and cries from both combatants echoed across.

During the battle and in the midst of fall, "Sigh" Ethan then in a moment of clarity heaved a heavy sigh before he grimaced with a weighted swung of his sword, successfully landing a clean hit on its arm that tried to attack him, sending it away from him, before out of nowhere, he was then immediately subjected by the other arm of the Dragon, "Dun Crash" resulting in him then being plunged across the rocky slope, and having his back scraped down against. "Aah!" he cried out in pain as he was helpless to exert any real strength due to the momentum that carried him down. As a resort to it, he then swung his sword deep into the rocky slope, but that too was useless as he was continued to be dragged down along with his sword.

The back of Ethan's clothing was degraded and torn apart, his skin and flesh took in next as blood seeped out clear and wide for the Dragon's eyes to see, marking a long trail across.

As they leaved the peak of the mountain and leveled down at the middle section, leaving the coldest part and where the slope angled lower, Ethan saw from deep below a clear wide ledge with a seemingly large hole that goes into the mountain, similar to the one above where the Dragon came off earlier. Within a moment, he tried to iniate a plan despite the long trail of pain by trying to endure his way through and focus his mind to an extreme with his heightened senses and the adrenaline rushing into his body. Where the slope finally started to lower its angle to a comfortable degree, Ethan placed his legs before him where his boots degraded on some parts as they too was scrapped against, and but for a single moment, a moment that took the Dragon by complete surprise, even himself, the ground cracked as it usually does by the painstaking battle and continous acts between them, Ethan momentarily overpowered the dragon with all the strength he could muster at the moment, and put it into use by instead lifting the Dragon with his own two hands.

"BANG BANG BOOM ROAR" everything shook as Ethan slammed the giant existence unto its back above him with a thunderous roar that was heard all across as it crashed over, making stones break and flew off into countless pieces and left the mountaing trembling, shaking upon the might of the two combatants. The dragon roared and growled loudly in response to the damage it took, and Ethan tried distance himself from it, heading for the wide ledge he saw.

Carefully placing his steps on each edges of the rocks, he didn't dare to look back behind him to not get distracted by the condition of the dragon, as he believed it wouldn't have suffer a significant damage from that alone. As he finally found the ledge amidst the chaotic scenery and placing his steps on it, his degraded boots and bare feet lightly slid off the slippery rocky surface, before making a run inside the large hole that will take him inside of the mountain. However, before he could enter inside, "Crash" a massive body of flesh and scales cascaded down upon him, nearly flattening Ethan who but made a last second leap towards inside the cave. The Dragon having slid off from the top and crashed unto the ledge, it then used this opportunity to fix itself and crawl on all fours on the more stable surface with a normal angle, and started chasing Ethan inside the cave as it roared wildly "ROAR".

From behind him was a giant lizard with wings and scales for its body, growling and roaring at him with an open mouth, and the cave shook and trembled in the process. 'It's so dark!' he thought, as he ran deeper into the cave where darkness grew more prominent and swallow every crook and cranny. With his sword still on its scabbard, carrying the heavy object with his hand on the handle, his other free hand tried to rummage carefully inside one of his small bags and reached out for a potion. "Come on, night vision! night vision!" Ethan's hand rummaging inside made the potions clinked upon contact with each other, he took out each one, one by one, before reading their names. A lot was took out before going back into the small bag, since it's not the one he needed. Amidst the chase he was under, Ethan hear the dreadful scream of the Dragon from behind, and with his vision under the shade of absolute darkness, barely allowing him to see any more further, he stopped in his tracks just on time as he saw the right potion.

It was a very small glass, no less than his thumb, and it contains a dark liquid inside with a name outside saying "Night Vision!" With a shout, he swiftly took out the top and swallowed the content inside in one go. As he took back the small piece of glass inside his small bag, he tasted a sort of gloomy, and slimy texture that made him think of the dark. But just as the taste kicked in, his vision gradually started to become brighter and brighter, and things became clearer for his eyes.

"Cmon, let's see how you do in this kind of narrow space!" with his eyes faintly glowing in the dark, Ethan stood still with his very weary and tired body, while he turned his head around to look at the direction where the far entrance is of the cave. And in that direction, he saw the large emerging figure of the white Dragon with its six limbs, and battered, damaged body closing in on him.
