Chapter 7 - 7

"I have an idea." Tony subconsciously touched his waist, realizing he was wearing armor and didn't have a business card. "Alright, I wonder if the two of you are interested in working at Stark Industries. The compensation will definitely satisfy you both. My CEO might need some outstanding bodyguards."

"If I ever run out of money, I will." Shen He shrugged.

If he hadn't obtained the Servant Summoning System and hadn't summoned Qi Shen, then working at Stark Industries for a living might have been a good option.

But now his horizons were no longer those of an ordinary person.

Ultimately, transmigrating to a World with familiar plots and characters would inevitably bring a sense of superiority.

"Alright, you should know where to find me. That's right, just watch TV." Tony put his mask back on.

They were just two people with some special abilities. Since they couldn't solve the palladium poisoning problem and weren't willing to become his employees, a casual chat was enough.

Shen He glanced at the person Saiki Kusuo was carrying, thought for a moment, and called out to Tony, who was about to fly away.

"Can you help us call Agent Coulson? I know you have his contact information."

"...No problem."

Tony didn't hesitate for a moment and flew away directly.

"We'll wait here. We'll let S.H.I.E.L.D. worry about HYDRA, and also urge them about the identity issue. Then we'll rent a high-end apartment, clear some dungeons, and play some games."

These were Shen He's plans.

His golden finger system didn't require him to participate in the plot, and low-level gacha could even draw U.S. dollars, so he didn't even need to find a job.

Moreover, for gacha-centric games, it was fine to just chill and live a healthy life when there were no events; even if you wanted to grind, you couldn't.

By the way, will this system have events? Will it?

"Even if you ask me, I don't know." Saiki Kusuo looked at Shen He. "You seem to adapt very quickly."

"What do you mean, about transmigration?" Shen He pointed to his head. "Perhaps it's because I've always been unwilling to believe that fantasy is just fantasy. Everything that happened today didn't give me too much of an unreal feeling, so naturally, I have to show the adaptability of a social elite."

"Is that how adults cope?" Saiki Kusuo pondered slightly.

Bang—!

A crisp sound.

"Wha—what happened?"

Shen He looked closely and gasped.

A golden bullet was hovering near the back of his head. Without Qi Shen, he would have been dead.

"It's a sniper."

Saiki Kusuo's eyes immediately became cross-eyed as he activated his Clairvoyance ability.

"Wait, they might have accomplices."

Shen He immediately pulled back Saiki Kusuo, who was about to teleport away.

Almost simultaneously, there were two more soft sounds. This time, two sniper bullets came consecutively from different directions.

"Go to that corner of the wall first."

Shen He and Saiki Kusuo ran together to the corner of the rooftop, huddling against the wall to hide. That was a blind spot, with things blocking them from all directions.

"There are many of them, at least a dozen snipers, nearly a hundred enemies, and some heavy weapons." Saiki Kusuo's eyes remained in Clairvoyance mode. "Unlike the assassins from earlier, they seem to be a gang."

Even though he was only at Level Two now, ordinary people and ordinary weapons were still not enough to pose a threat to him. However, protecting Shen He would be somewhat difficult.

"A gang? I haven't even been here for a day, why am I being attacked so fiercely by a gang?" Shen He was speechless. He hadn't seen other transmigrators experience this.

If this relentless assault continued, even if he wasn't killed, he'd be annoyed to death. How could he then leisurely clear dungeons and summon Servants?

"Could it be because of this person?" Saiki Kusuo pointed to the captured HYDRA assassin beside them. "One of the two bullets just now was aimed at him."

..."So that's it!"

As if a light bulb went off, Shen He suddenly understood.

According to the plot, HYDRA was still in hiding at this time, and the previous car accident was likely just a test.

But now, Saiki Kusuo had directly captured a prisoner. If S.H.I.E.L.D.'s bald head knew that HYDRA, which should have been wiped out decades ago, still existed, an investigation would surely be launched.

So the opponent's true target should be this HYDRA assassin, to kill him and then stop all clues at the gang organization controlled by HYDRA.

"Should we hand him over?"

Saiki Kusuo also learned the reason for the matter through Shen He's thoughts.

"Of course not." Shen He opened his system and looked at a powerful defensive weapon in his inventory. "The weaker you are, the more arrogant your enemies become. Qi Mu, since our special nature has been exposed the moment we arrived, let's just go all out."

In his inventory was the only four-star rare armament from the previous ten-pull advanced gacha, besides Saiki Kusuo:

Shinkirou!

From the World of Lelouch of the Rebellion, it was the protagonist Lelouch's strongest Knightmare Frame.

Equipped with the Druid System and the Absolute Protect Field System, it possessed defensive capabilities comparable to a fortress, and also had a flight system.

"If you bring that out, there will be endless trouble later." Saiki Kusuo heard Shen He's plan.

"There's already endless trouble now, Qi Mu." Shen He's thoughts were very clear. "I'm not the type to be stingy and want to keep everything for myself. Moreover, as long as we show our strength, we'll be qualified to find allies and make our enemies hesitate to act rashly—this is for our leisurely life!"

"...Okay."

Saiki Kusuo hated being in the spotlight. If he could, he just wanted to live the life of an ordinary high school student.

But since he had already promised to help, there was no other way.

Whoosh—!

Accompanied by a piercing whistle, a Rocket hit the spot where the two of them were.

Boom!

Amidst a violent explosion, a gigantic machine soared into the sky from the rolling smoke.

The black main color scheme, combined with the golden armor at the joints, plus its tall and slender body proportion, made the entire Shinkirou large Knightmare Frame look like only one word—cool!

"Hahaha! As expected, mecha is a man's romance!"

Shen He couldn't help but burst into laughter. Just sitting inside, touching the controls and keyboard, a surge of ambition and fighting spirit welled up within him.

Like the previous "Gale," just touching it brought basic operating methods into his mind. Although it was only basic operation, the "Shinkirou" itself was designed towards high-intensity defense and heavy weapon attack modes.

"What is that?"

"Oh no, something is falling!"

"Run!"

The people on the street below were attracted by the explosion, but the concrete falling from high altitude quickly caused panic.

Even an egg falling from hundreds of meters high could become a deadly weapon.

Not to mention the shattered stones and glass.

However, the large Knightmare Frame flying high into the sky made a graceful turn and descended straight to low altitude.

"Blaze Luminous (Absolute Protect Field), activate!"

Shen He abruptly crossed the Knightmare Frame's arms, activating a pink defensive field that blocked all falling objects from high altitude.
