Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: The Fisherman Never Goes Home Empty-Handed, an Encounter with Familiar Strangers

After the first class ended, it was 9:30 AM. Alistair checked the schedule and saw that the upcoming classes were all taught by male teachers, so he lost interest and immediately got up and left the classroom. At this time, few non-studious students bothered to stay inside.

Public schools here follow a relaxed curriculum. Classes start at 8:45 AM, each lasting fifty minutes. There are three or four classes in the morning, and school often ends as early as 2:30 PM or 3:30 PM.

In total, students attend only five or six classes a day. The rest of the time, the proactive students attend cram schools, while the others engage in activities or hang out. During the first semester of the first year, classes are assigned randomly; the second semester, they are streamed based on grades.

Thanks to the system of differentiated exams, good students received slightly more challenging tests, while the underperforming students were barely asked what one plus one equals. This is why the school's average score looks so attractive; otherwise, why would parents send their children here?

Now, after the first class, many students were walking freely in the corridors. Quite a few had already gone downstairs to the playground or a small park—clearly students who weren't planning to return to class. The teachers were largely accustomed to this and pretended not to notice.

Alistair truly loved this environment. Without it, how could "good people" come knocking to bring warmth to Alistair? Sure enough, Alistair had only gone to the restroom when a student from another class came to "greet" him cordially.

"Hey, classmate, how about we get acquainted? My name is Harutake Kono. What's your name?"

A blond student, well over 5'11" (180cm) tall, blocked Alistair's path as he was about to leave. His strong muscles strained against his short-sleeved shirt.

It was clear this guy had cornered people here before. The students nearby gave Alistair looks of pity, and a few stood near the door, watching the scene with malicious pleasure.

It wasn't surprising he chose Alistair. After all, Alistair was cute and soft-looking, with a slender build, wearing a completely unmodified uniform, and sporting black-rimmed glasses.

He was practically screaming at people to come and bully him. However, they clearly hadn't considered the concept of baiting the hook, nor did they know that the most skilled hunters often disguise themselves as prey, awaiting the true quarry.

"Hello, my name is Alistair Vance. Now that we know each other, I'd like to go back. Could you please move?"

Alistair was in an excellent mood with the arrival of his first "fish." He decided to play along, adopting a soft and timid demeanor to answer.

"Of course, but since we're friends now, helping each other out is only right, isn't it? Your friend here is a little short on cash lately. How about helping your friend out?"

Harutake Kono grinned, stepping closer, attempting to clap Alistair on the shoulder, but Alistair shifted sideways and dodged him.

"Tch. I don't think you've washed your hands yet, have you? That's disgusting. If you stain my clothes, I'll make you lick it clean like a rabbit eating its own runny shit."

Seeing the blond Harutake try to clap his shoulder, Alistair, remembering the bully hadn't washed his hands, dropped the act and avoided his hand with an expression of disgust.

"Huh? You bastard, are you trying to—Eugh! Cough!"

Harutake Kono, enraged by Alistair's words, reached out to grab him, but Alistair executed a quick step forward and hit him with an uppercut punch to the chin, momentarily stunning him.

Alistair followed up with a punch to the stomach, and as Kono doubled over in pain, Alistair hooked his right foot around Kono's left ankle, causing him to lose balance and begin to fall.

But Alistair wasn't done yet. Before Kono hit the floor, Alistair grabbed him from behind by the neck and dragged him toward the urinals.

"See this? Wash your face properly. Know your limits. Don't waste your time looking for trouble in the restroom every day. You barely have any money, and you dare to play the tough guy?"

Alistair choked him with one hand and used the other to adjust his glasses. The slight reflection on the lenses prevented Kono from seeing Alistair's eyes.

Kono felt Alistair's hand was as strong as the imperative to breed. His heavily trained, strong body was being handled as easily as a loaf of bread, which terrified him.

Alistair smirked, gave him a sweet smile, and then mercilessly shoved his head downward into the urinal.

"Cough, gurgle, cough, cough..."

Tsk tsk. Judging by the sound, he must have drunk quite a bit. I hope he doesn't have diabetes; it wouldn't be good if he got a taste for something sweet.

Alistair looked up, and the surrounding crowd immediately began to bolt for the door. They certainly didn't want to end up like that blond thug.

"Hey! You! The one in glasses!"

Alistair pointed at a tall, skinny figure. He was tall, but his build was thin, and he wore black-rimmed glasses. Unlike Alistair, who was just pretending, this person genuinely seemed weak to the core.

"You stay right there. Don't move. Otherwise, you'll suffer the consequences."

"...Yes! What are your orders?" The skinny, tall guy in glasses immediately stopped, turned, and cautiously asked Alistair.

Alistair walked to the sink, washed his hands, then approached the four-eyed skinny guy. Without hesitation, he grabbed the meek student's uniform and started wiping his hands on it.

"What's your name?" Alistair asked casually.

"My name is Kazumi Nishida. I'm in Class 1-D," the skinny guy replied, his voice trembling slightly.

"Kazumi Nishida? Does your class have a blond guy named Ryuji Matsuoka and a girl named Kanade Amakawa?"

Hearing the name, Alistair raised an eyebrow. He vaguely remembered it. He thought carefully and asked.

"Yes. Why do you ask?" Kazumi Nishida asked nervously, mixed with confusion.

"Are you in any clubs?" Alistair carefully wiped the water droplets from between his fingers, asking as if preoccupied.

"N-no. But I plan to check them out at the club recruitment fair in a few days," Kazumi Nishida answered honestly.

"Mhm. That's all. You can go now." Alistair finished wiping his hands, shoved Kazumi Nishida aside, and walked out first.

Alistair walked down the corridor, flipping through the wallets he had smoothly taken from the two guys. He noticed the blond thug's wallet had less money than the skinny guy's, and he couldn't help but sneer, raising his hand and tossing it into a trash can.

I really am a polite and conscientious good student. I even know to put garbage in the trash can. Alistair mused to himself.

He hadn't expected such a rewarding morning on his first day back. Not only did he spot an excellent teacher, but he also stumbled upon a new plotline. Kazumi Nishida was a known cuckold in his memories, and the heroine and the villain were also present. That made things even better!
