Chapter 49 - Chapter 49: The "Familiarity" Plan is Underway

Alistair discovered a pleasant surprise.

The video on the memory card showed two yellow-haired people entangled. To be precise, it was a video of a muscular yellow-haired guy fucking a blonde girl.

Seriously, why are there so many muscular yellow-haired guys? They were all 6'0" to 6'3" and ripped with muscle. It was ridiculous.

However, this yellow-haired guy was quite a player; he even filmed it. He was also very careful: his face never entered the frame, only the back of his head, while the girl was filmed from head to toe.

Given the excellent performance of the camera, the footage was very clear, and Alistair could clearly see the girl's body.

Alistair also noticed that on the yellow-haired guy's neck, just above the collarbone, there was a circle of yellow, nail-like objects piercing his skin.

The girl's figure and face were decent, but not exactly beautiful; she was perhaps just attractive. Her figure was nothing special, smaller than Chiaki's size; a handful wouldn't even fill the hand.

Alistair watched for a while and then turned it off. The club president was still talking. Good thing this thing had no sound, or it would have become the highlight of the whole room.

This was highly entertaining. This was the Film Research Club's equipment, available for loan, and it had something like this left on it. Two words: They're players!

With the digital camera secured, there was no need for Alistair to stay. During a lull in Kazuhiro Kimura's speech, Alistair stood up and walked out.

The remaining people watched Alistair leave. His purpose for coming was clearly the digital camera, but his behavior wasn't overly outrageous, so no one openly criticized Alistair, though they were probably muttering under their breath.

Oh, and Alistair had been using Yujiro Morita's name here the entire time. (Manual comic slide)

With the camera in hand, the next step was to scout the location.

The video didn't clearly describe whether the Student Council Vice President went to a bar or a karaoke place.

However, a place where people can freely express themselves on a dance floor, a brightly lit hall with a disco ball, and where one can freely fuck their younger brother in public, wouldn't be very common here.

Although there might be changes in this mixed world, he would look for a place that fit that description first.

The Vice President wouldn't go too far for a place like a karaoke bar or a nightclub; otherwise, it would be too late for her to get home.

She also couldn't go anywhere too close to the school or highly popular among students; encountering a classmate would lead to ruin. So, it was most likely somewhere close to her home but quite a distance from the school.

Alistair had seen the Vice President walking along the road in front of his apartment building complex on his way to school, so the most likely spot was a nightclub in the small commercial street near the apartment.

Checking the time, he'd spent some time with the Biology Teacher and then listened to Kazuhiro Kimura's long speech here. It was past 5 PM. Even if Alistair hadn't left, the meeting would have been wrapping up soon.

5 PM was too early for a nightclub; it would probably be empty. And going there wouldn't be interesting. Alistair wasn't particularly interested in such places. If it weren't to "get to know" the Vice President, he wouldn't bother going.

Forget it. I'll head back to the classroom to get the Stone Mask. It would be a hassle if someone took it and caused trouble.

As Alistair thought this, he suddenly felt something was amiss. Did I forget something? Alistair scratched his head. But if I forgot it, it probably wasn't that important. Let it go.

The Stone Mask was in his desk drawer. An item that could change someone's race was casually left by Alistair. He certainly was reckless.

Taking the Stone Mask in his hand, Alistair suddenly had a strange feeling. He felt that the Stone Mask looked... very "delicious"?

Alistair shuddered, quickly dismissed the thought, held the Stone Mask in one hand, and used the camera case to hold it as he set off for home.

Meanwhile.

"Hey, Kimura, I heard you lent out a digital camera. I found that my camera is missing. Did you mix it up?" A yellow-haired guy approached Kazuhiro Kimura after the meeting.

"Huh? Is that so? But that was in the equipment room. Why would you use it without permission?" Kazuhiro Kimura was slightly displeased.

"Oh, what's the big deal? Just used it for a bit. It's not broken, and my memory card is inside. It has personal privacy, you know." The yellow-haired guy, Ansei, chuckled, changing the subject.

"No, all I know is that his name is Yujiro Morita. You'll have to check the logbook for the rest. But he left a long time ago. He's probably finished watching your 'privacy' by now. You might be widely exposed tomorrow, Ansei." Kazuhiro Kimura shrugged, indicating he couldn't help.

"Alright, alright." The yellow-haired Ansei had no choice but to scratch his head and go look for the logbook.

...

Before heading home, I should take a quick look at the commercial street.

On the train, Alistair thought this, glancing at the people inside. Just as he was about to close his eyes to rest, an unexpected figure caught his eye.

She had ear-length bobbed hair with a hime-cut fringe, wearing a headband. Her face was somewhat seductive, and her figure was curvy but not plump—a clear hourglass shape...

Isn't this "seeking high and low, only to find it next to you"? The target person was right next to him. All he had to do was follow her.

So Alistair pretended to be dozing, but his attention was entirely focused on the target—Student Council Vice President Anna Komiya.

As station after station passed, the train arrived at the station on the road leading to Alistair's apartment building.

Clank.

The train doors opened, and Anna Komiya, as Alistair had anticipated, stepped off the train. Alistair stood up and followed closely.

"Hmm? What's this..."

Just as he got off the train, Alistair felt something sharp under his foot. He moved his foot aside and looked down. It was a blue wallet. It looks like the Golden Rule (Fate) has activated.

Alistair picked it up and checked it. It contained about 5,000 yen and some change. After counting the money, Alistair took out the ID.

It was a student ID: Anna Komiya, Sakura Public High School, Class 2-A... Kūzacho 3-chōme 4-banchi 5-gō...

Heh~ The Golden Rule (Fate) really came through this time...

Kūzacho was here, so Vice President Anna Komiya indeed lived in this vicinity. 3-chōme was exactly where Alistair's apartment building was located.

Alistair wasn't sure about 4-banchi 5-gō, so he pulled out his own student ID. It was also 4-banchi 5-gō. It seems our Vice President Anna Komiya lives in Alistair's apartment building.

In Japan, banchi refers to a subdivision of land, usually about 3,000 to 5,000 square meters, and gō is the building number. This meant they were in the same building, though the specific apartment number was missing. No problem, I can look it up later.

Alistair continued to search and pulled out a high-quality-looking card.

Sparkle Nightclub? Alistair recognized the name. This was a nightclub in the commercial street not far from his apartment.

It had private rooms for karaoke, a noisy bar section, and quieter lounge areas. It covered many aspects of the nightlife scene.

Hmm? This is a VIP card? It grants access to hidden locations. The card was untraceable, non-replaceable if lost, and allowed the holder to bring one person with them each time.

Interesting. Is this where Vice President Anna Komiya goes?

Alistair pocketed the VIP card, put the student ID back into the wallet (he didn't leave her the money, of course), and slipped the wallet into his bag.

No need to worry now. I just need to wait there and catch her.
