Chaim's POV
Relief floods through me as we finally wrap up this endless day. Tomorrow we head back to the Palace, and after one more night in this hotel, I can collapse into my own bed.
"With our mate right beside us," Chandler rumbles in my mind, his voice thick with anticipation.
These tingles have been driving me crazy for the past hour. Every time they spark across my skin, I want to throw Audrey over my shoulder and disappear with her somewhere private.
Chandler keeps going silent on me, sometimes vanishing so completely I can barely sense him. He refuses to tell me where he wanders off to, though I know he can't stray too far from me.
Once I mark Audrey, he'll be free to visit Norma whenever he wants. Right now, he's limited to connecting with our parents' shifters and maybe Nancy if he's lucky.
"I'm bunking with Scott and Leo tonight. Boys' night," Ian announces as the elevator reaches the top floor.
