Serena blurted out, her eyes searching Miles's. "Are you really my grandfather? You are not lying, are you?".
Miles shook his head, tears gathering in his eyes. "You are really my granddaughter." He wiped the tears from his eyes, and gestured for Cody who was still trying to process things to come.
"The folder." He demanded. Cody handed it to him.
When Miles turned to face Serena, his expression was softer. "I know I shouldn't have done this DNA test without your knowledge," he started, then sighed, "but I couldn't help myself. You bear such a huge resemblance to Regina and it made me really curious."
Serena listened to him quietly. She knew that she always had an uncanny resemblance to her mom. But one thing struck her while Miles was speaking. "How did you get my sample?" Her eyes were narrowed as she stared at him warily.
"I knew it was going to come back to haunt you." Elias's voice sounded from behind.
