I wanted to be comfortable, so I wore baggy jeans with a black kurti, styled with a beautiful jhumka. I tied my hair neatly and slipped into my white sneakers.
I loved my look. It felt perfectly me—a little Indo-Western, a little desi.
"Are you done, bro?" I asked Shakshi.
"Behen, thoda sa jaldi kar le. You're always late," i laughed.
"Arre haan haan, done," I said.
"Bro, you look so pretty," I told her.
"Not more than you," she smiled. Shakshi was wearing a blue dress.
She's like my sister. I love her so much.

We heard someone calling our names.
We turned back. It was Priyan and Subho.
I don't know why, but whenever I see Subho, my heart skips a beat.

"Hum bhi niche hi ja rahe the,"Priyan said.

"so how was yesterday? " Rohini asked, teasing.
"Good," I said, because she already knew what she was talking about.
"Subho ne cake khilaya… mujhe toh laga tha tu waha par hi behosh ho jaayegi," Rohini laughed.
Bro, my heart was pounding.
Ankush suddenly asked, "By the way… do you like someone?"
I swear, I was about to die.
"Yesterday was hilarious, to be honest," Rohini said.
"Subho has changed a lot." I said softly.
"Hm… kyunki usme manners aa gaye hain, behen," she said with a smile.
