Aron's pov
I woke up to the sound of combat boots matching around the camp, i could hear voices chanting the purple mantra repeatedly. Honestly I didn't feel like waking up, i just lay on my bed thinking about mom and her wounds.
"This has to stop" i sighed
The door suddenly flew open as a curvy feminine figure entered wearing a sexy smug. I just observed her, she was fair in complexion with green eyes that shimmered when she smiled at me, her body was wrapped with a tight flowing gown that showed her curves. Her golden low cut complemented her looks and eyes
"Ola" i smiled
She smiled back as she came closer to me and bent her face to meet mine
"Sleepyhead wake up, mon'itei is waiting for you"
"I don't feel like standing up from here" i caressed her arms as she sat on the bed
"So what do you feel like doing then" she smirked knowing exactly what I wanted
"You...i just want you" i pulled her down to the bed next to me and wrapping my arms around her
"Cheeky boy" she giggled as she relaxed into my arms
Apart from my mother, Ola was my safe zone. She was the only girl in the camp that could stand before me without shaking, not only was she very beautiful, she was also smart, strong and kind when not provoked. We all called her the thunder queen, because she was the strongest female in the camp. My dad found her when we were conducting one of our raids, she was only a baby then and was dumped by her mom into a dustbin. My dad apparently saw something in her and decided to spare her life. Ever since then, Ola had grew up to be his second favourite soldier after me. She never failed any missions she was given and i just couldn't help but fall in love with her... though i wouldn't really call it love, more like something deeper.
"How was the raid yesterday?" She kissed my lower lips
"It was good, i heard mon'itei sent you to the North to deliver weapons to our comrades over there?"
She nodded
Since both of us weren't in the mood to talk, i grabbed her waist and started kissing her. She moaned a little but suddenly pulled away
"What's wrong?" I said in between breaths
"Mon'itei will be angry if he comes in here and finds us goffing around" she said
"True. So i guess I'll meet you at the lagoon tonight?" I smiled
"Sure" she smiled back and quickly stood up to leave
"Are you scared of me?" I looked at her
Something about her seemed off
"No I'm just not in the mood" she said and then walked out
I was a bit confused but I just ignored the thoughts coming in and went to get ready for the combat training

Mon'itei was already addressing everyone when I came outside, i sneaked over to cobra
"What's going on?" I asked him
"Mon'itei wants us to attack the city again" he replied without looking at me
I nodded and then paid attention to the dad who was on a raised platform addressing us. Luka the witch doctor was standing beside him, some of the top leaders were also there.
".... we'll attack Lagos again, but we will focus the attack on government houses this time and some areas of banana island 🏝️. The group will be divided into three, Alpha, Beta, Gamma. The Alpha squad will be led by Aron my son, you'll attack the governor's office. I want a job well done, make sure you kill the government staffs and anyone who stands in the way, as for the governor I want him alive. Understood?"
"Yes mon'itei!" I nodded
"Good i raised a tiger 🐯. Beta will be led by Ola, attack and capture the residents of Banana island. I trust you to do a great job as always Ola" he smiled at the thunder queen 👑 who was standing Cobra
"I won't fail you my lord" she said but not with her usual excitement
She was really acting strange but I just ignored her
"Gamma" dad continued "you'll be led by Cobra and Agu, you're not to attack anywhere, i just want you to stand by as back up just in case something goes wrong. Stay vigilant and make sure the people of Lagos feels our wrath. Am I understood?"
"Yes mon'itei!" We all chorused
"Who has ever escaped the the wrath of the purple deity?" He shouted
"No one!" We chorused
"Who dares dance the purple dance without getting leprosy?!"
"No one but the great mon'itei himself!"
"Who are we to the world?!"
"The purple eyes that feeds on their fears!"
"What's our goal?!"
"To kill until our purple anger has been quenched!" We shouted as we raised our guns in the air
"We're the purple Lagoon and we will make all who dares crosses us pays with their life"
"Eyla!!! (Yes in purple language)" We roared
"Go my purple seeds and conquer Lagos for me"
We all shouted feeling motivated and then started matching into the armoured vans, group by group.
Blood will be spilled again
