Ola's pov
I stormed out of the room before he could finish whatever he had to say, nothing could soothe the anger flowing inside me right now. I saw everything that happened at the garden, the way he held her, looked at her, smiled at her, protected her and the way he kissed her. It was different from the way he treated me and it made me really angry
"Die for him in battle and yet he chooses a looser and the enemy over you. He's forgotten what those Lagos bastards did to us, how could he?!"
I yelled angrily as I continued shooting the dummy in the target room, repeatedly. The bullets soon ran out and I threw my gun to the floor
"Fuck him!"
"Easy"
A deep voice interrupted my rant, i turned and quickly bowed once I saw mon'itei
"Our weapons are low so don't waste the bullets on a dummy" he walked closer
"Sorry" i said and shifted back
"Your little boyfriend is back" he snarled
I kept quiet
"You don't have to act all weak in front of me" he held my face
I so wanted to slap his hand away
"Any updates on the governor?" He asked pulling me closer to him
Don't struggle
Just obey him
Submit to him
He saved you when the world gave up on you
"Yeah, he got arrested"
"Wonderful. The oracle?"
"They haven't reacted yet but I'm pretty sure they'll soon" i said
"True. I want you to go back, now that's he more downcast than ever. Be there for him, earn his trust and act like you support his dark world" he commanded
"Yes great leader" i nodded
"Good. Go tomorrow and pay him a visit in prison. Use your little "i care about you" charm on him"
I nodded again "i won't disappoint you"
"You never have. I trust you more than my own son, so don't fail me" he whispered into my ears
I just froze and nodded
"I won't"
With that he let go of me and walked out of the target room. I breathed out in relief, feeling glad that he didn't touch me like he'd.
"I just hope we find peace after this mission. I'm now living for two and..." I trailed off as I held my stomach
"One last mission and I'll end this"
