Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Late System

Beize's Ninja Academy grades weren't ideal.

Uchiha Itachi graduated from the Ninja Academy at seven; he barely graduated at thirteen.

Uzumaki Naruto became the savior at seventeen; he became a Chunin at seventeen with all his might.

In this ninja world where killing was rampant, Beize was a "three-no" ninja: no talent, no bloodline, no backing.

To survive until the finale, he chose to go teach at the Ninja Academy, and he taught for five years.

"Konoha is peaceful again today."

Beize stood up and walked to the window.

It was the annual first day of school again. The training ground was bustling with people coming and going.

Beize looked down at the new student files in his hand, and familiar names came into view one by one.

Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, Hyuuga Hinata, Yamanaka Ino, Haruno Sakura, Akimichi Chōji, Nara Shikamaru, and Inuzuka Kiba, etc.

'Five years, a whole five years, I've finally waited for these protagonists.'

Beize sighed inwardly.

After this, only two calamities remained in his life.

One was Orochimaru's Konoha Crush plan, the second was the Akatsuki organization's Nagato's Pain Invasion.

The former didn't involve the Ninja Academy, so it wasn't a big problem.

The latter was more troublesome. That 'bag of rice' attack destroyed more than half of Konoha.

Beize's plan was to run away early, take leave, and get out of the village.

As for the specific time, he could calculate it based on when Naruto and the others enrolled.

Just as he was pondering the timing, he suddenly heard a 'Ding!'

[Detected that the Host is over six years old and has successfully enrolled. The Strongest Hokage Training System is activating.]

Beize suddenly froze on the spot.

He had waited twenty-one years. At the moment he held the least hope, the door finally opened.

'Lu Mingfei only waited seventeen years, why did your system only arrive now?'

'Wait! What the hell? I'm six years old?'

"System, is something wrong somewhere?"

Beize couldn't help but ask.

[Please Host, complete the first stage main mission: Dominate the Ninja Academy and become the strongest graduate.]

'No, buddy, are you this stupid?'

'I'm very happy you're here, but I'm very unhappy that you got the time wrong.'

'How the hell am I supposed to become a graduate now? Answer me!'

'No wonder they say blue is the color of wisdom.'

Beize understood now. This damn system was fifteen years late.

'Could it be... he waited for nothing?'

[If you want to dominate the Ninja Academy, you must first conquer your classmates.]

[Current Mission: Please obtain the initial approval of your classmate, Uzumaki Naruto.]

[Mission Reward: Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique.]

[Accept?]

Beize was speechless.

'He's not Naruto's classmate, how can he do the mission?'

If he applied to return to the Ninja Academy as a student, Sarutobi Hiruzen would probably reply that he should hire an expert—no, hire a medical-nin to see if a zombie had eaten his brain.

"Who designed this system? The legendary 'i-team'?"

Beize rubbed the bridge of his nose, feeling a headache coming on.

There was no choice; he could only try to make the best of this mistake.

'If I can't complete the mission, I... well, I can't do anything about it.'

'Besides getting angry, I'll just get angry. At most, I'll spew a few 'Dragon Gate' curses.'

'But what if this stupid system's mission can be completed?'

Fortunately, there was no penalty for not completing or not accepting the mission.

"A person can't be this unlucky forever, right?"

Beize chose to accept the mission.

He put down the student files and left the office.

As soon as he reached the school's training ground, he heard numerous crude remarks.

"Don't go near him, that guy is a monster."

"You must not play with him, stay far away."

"I really don't get why Lord Hokage would allow him to come to school."

Beize looked at a small, yellow-haired boy sitting on the swing.

He had his head down, appearing silent and withdrawn, separated from the surrounding bustle by a miserably thick barrier.

'You people are really something.'

'Daring to hiss at a little boy who possesses a nuclear bomb. Aren't you afraid of getting 'well-done'?'

Beize ignored the strange looks from the crowd and walked forward.

Naruto heard the footsteps, subconsciously raised his head, and met a pair of black eyes.

He couldn't help but freeze, because the other person's attitude was very gentle, completely devoid of any malice.

"What's your name?"

Beize sighed inwardly and asked patiently.

'Getting Naruto's initial approval. This mission is actually very simple.'

'Because in his world, only two people currently acknowledge him. One is Sarutobi Hiruzen, the other is Teuchi.'

"I... I'm Uzumaki Naruto."

Naruto felt a trace of warmth. His spirits lifted, and he asked, "What about you?"

"Beize."

Beize replied.

"Hello, Big Brother Beize!"

Naruto said, his tone a little excited.

"Don't call me Big Brother."

Beize's mouth twitched. "You should call me Teacher."

"Teacher?"

Naruto's eyes lit up. "Are you the teacher for Class 1-A?"

"Mhm."

Beize nodded.

"That's great!"

Naruto said very happily, "I'm also in Class 1-A."

"I'll take you to register."

Beize reached out, patted his shoulder, and said.

"Thank you, Teacher Beize!"

Naruto excitedly jumped off the swing, but after two steps, his expression suddenly froze, and he lowered his head.

He noticed the disgusted gazes nearby. This time, even Beize was affected.

"Teacher Beize, I can go register by myself. You don't need to worry about me."

Naruto stopped walking and said.

"If you care too much about what others think, you'll only become their prisoner."

Beize said calmly, without turning his head.

Naruto stared blankly at his back.

He somewhat understood, yet somewhat didn't.

"Keep up."

Beize raised his hand and wiggled his fingers.

Naruto snapped back to reality and subconsciously quickened his pace to follow.

Class 1-A.

When Naruto appeared, the entire classroom fell silent, and all eyes landed on him.

Among them was the teacher in charge of registration, Umino Iruka.

Naruto subconsciously wanted to lower his head, but for some reason, he remembered what Beize had just said.

He mustered his courage and faced those gazes directly.

"Iruka."

Beize spoke with his usual smile.

"Beize-senpai."

Umino Iruka suppressed the emotions in his heart and said.

In the original story, his parents died during the Nine-Tails' rampage.

And now, Naruto was considered a monster, so Iruka harbored hatred for him at the beginning.

"This is Uzumaki Naruto, a new student in Class 1-A."

Beize said with a normal expression, "Get him registered."

Umino Iruka took out the roster to register him, then gave Naruto the first semester's textbooks and class schedule.

After registration, the two left the classroom and arrived at the school gate.

"Tomorrow is the first day of school. Remember not to be late."

Beize reminded him.

"Okay!"

Naruto nodded heavily. "Thank you, Teacher Beize!"

"See you tomorrow."

Beize waved his hand.

Naruto was the Jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, monitored by Hiruzen and the ANBU. He couldn't act with too much obvious intent.

'It's a good thing I'm a teacher and not an Uchiha clan ninja. Otherwise, I'd end up 'committing suicide' with eight kunai in my back tomorrow.'

"Goodbye, Teacher Beize!"

Naruto turned and skipped away, clearly in a good mood.

[Host has completed the mission. Reward issued.]

Countless pieces of information suddenly flooded Beize's mind.

In an instant, he had completely mastered the Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique, going directly from novice to expert.

Beize's expression changed in a flash.

'This really is a stu— ...conscientious system.'

Although the Great Fireball Technique was jokingly said to have never killed anyone, for an ordinary Chunin like Beize, it was already a killer move.

"What are you smiling about? So happy?"

A sudden voice rang out.

Beize subconsciously looked over.

Not far away, a long-haired woman with a great figure and a mature air was standing.

She had a smile on her face, and under the sunlight, her pair of ruby-like eyes sparkled.
