Chapter 32 - "5.2 Million and Still Not Enough."

"Damn it! Broly, did you come here just to laugh at me? Fine! Just wait. One day, I, Vegeta, will beat every last one of you!"

"Heh. You? Big words like that need real strength to back them up."The moment Broly finished speaking, a wave of crimson energy burst from him. His figure blurred—and suddenly he was right in front of Turles. The afterimage that had been standing in front of Vegeta faded like smoke.

Broly caught Turles's heavy punch that had been aimed at Goku. He arched a brow, shot Vegeta a mocking glance from the corner of his eye, and swung his leg down.Turles shot away like a fired shell, smashing into the wall inside a nearby cave.

Watching Turles—who had defeated him with a single blow earlier—get taken down just as easily, Vegeta felt humiliation pierce deeper than ever.

Devastated, he slammed his fists against the ground again and again. Suddenly, a red fruit Turles had eaten earlier shook loose from the rocks above and rolled to a stop at his feet.

"Hm?"The moment Vegeta saw the fruit, something clicked. He'd been too furious to think straight about how Turles had suddenly gotten stronger, but that strange red fruit…

With a gambler's desperation, staking everything on this single hope, Vegeta snatched the fruit and shoved it into his mouth, swallowing it in a few bites.

Sure enough—he'd guessed right. Not only did his injuries heal at an incredible rate, but his power level shot up as well, climbing close to fifty thousand. And as his strength surged, his confidence came roaring back.

"What incredible power. Yeah… this is more like it! Hahahaha! Broly, you're dead this time!"He fired a blazing Flash Cannon straight at Broly, who was still floating calmly in midair.

"Vegeta? You…" Goku stared at him in disbelief.

It turned out Vegeta hadn't come because his training grounds were disrupted like Goku assumed. He'd come specifically for Broly. Vegeta knew that if something strange happened on Earth, Broly would definitely get involved. And sure enough, here he was—though their "reunion" wasn't exactly pleasant.

Vegeta had trained brutally for two full years, all for the day he could defeat Broly and wipe away the shame of being beaten in just three moves even in his Great Ape form.

"You really don't learn, do you? Fine, let me help you remember."Broly flicked his wrist. A ball of energy shot out, colliding with Vegeta's Flash Cannon and scattering it instantly. Then it kept going, slamming into Vegeta, who had crossed his arms in front of him.

Boom! It didn't injure him badly, but the impact blasted him back dozens of meters, his feet carving two deep trenches across the ground.

"Damn it… Even with all this power, I still can't beat him?!"

Grinding his teeth in frustration, Vegeta suddenly felt a surge of energy behind them.A glowing sphere of artificial moonlight rose into the sky.

"That's… an artificial moon? Looks like… I have no choice again."His eyes locked onto it, mind racing.

Just moments earlier—while Vegeta was counterattacking under the boost of the Tree of Might fruit—Turles, who had been knocked away, had secretly eaten another fruit himself. His injuries healed instantly, and his strength rose sharply.

He wanted to rush back out for revenge… until he watched Vegeta, who was now just as strong as he was, get one-shot again by Broly. That shock forced him to stop and reassess.

So he created the artificial moon instead. His plan was simple:Absorb enough Blutz Waves to transform, then destroy the artificial moon. After that, in his Great Ape form, he'd kill everyone before they could react.

Because Vegeta was an elite warrior of royal Saiyan blood, he could stay rational even after transforming.Turles, perhaps thanks to all the Tree of Might fruit he'd eaten, also managed to stay lucid in Great Ape form.

The moment both transformed, Vegeta punched the artificial moon to pieces. He knew Broly wouldn't transform even under a full moon—and worse, the moonlight would only boost Broly's power even further, tripling his strength.

Vegeta despised Broly as a "low-class warrior," but he wasn't stupid. Before eating the fruit, he never had enough confidence to defeat Broly. Even afterward, all he'd managed was one beam clash. And although he hadn't used his full power in that exchange… he could tell Broly wasn't even trying.

Blow after blow to his pride had driven Vegeta to choose a humiliating plan.

Broly looked at the towering Great Ape Vegeta with a kind of pitying contempt. To him, Vegeta's so-called pride was twisted, almost sick. To reclaim this "trampled pride," Vegeta had thrown away the last bit of dignity he had left.

First teaming up with someone else, and then destroying the artificial moon just to stop Broly from powering up.He didn't know if he could beat a stronger Broly, especially if Broly used that weird technique Goku used to multiply his power. So he cut off every possible variable.

Vegeta glared at Broly with hatred, and his power climbed another notch, reaching nearly 5.2 million.

Now, after eating the fruit and then multiplying their power tenfold with their Great Ape forms, both Vegeta and Turles had their eyes locked on Broly like predators ready to pounce.

Originally, Vegeta would never consider teaming up with Turles. He didn't believe Broly could take on his Great Ape form without the artificial moon's boost.

But that confidence didn't last long…

Both Vegeta and Turles crawled out of separate piles of rubble, staring at Broly—who was now engulfed in roaring red energy. The two Saiyans exchanged a look. They were about to join forces when—

"Well, well… looks pretty lively here. Mind if I join in?"
