"Evelin, could it be that because Mr. Ford divorced you and fell in love with Grace, you hold a grudge and are deliberately trying to sabotage him?"
Margot's voice cut through the room like a blade. "I never thought you'd be such a petty person who can't separate personal feelings from business."
"Exactly, Evelin. Whatever bad blood you have with Mr. Ford, it's your own drama. Right now, we're here to talk real Elysia Group business, not watch you throw a fit," Amadeus snapped.
I leaned back in my chair, letting their accusations hang in the air. "Oh, so agreeing to partner with Ford Technology means you're being professional, but opposing it means I can't separate personal feelings from business?" I challenged. "If that's your definition of professionalism, it's a little too convenient. At this rate, people might think Grey is secretly lining your pockets."
Both Amadeus and his daughter's faces went dark.
"Stop slandering us!" Margot burst out, her voice shaky.
