Evelin's POV
"What happened? Why did everything just go dark?" someone shouted.
Chaos erupted around me as the crowd grew restless, and the performers froze mid-routine on stage.
Moments later, backup lighting flickered on, and an announcement crackled through the speakers. "We apologize for the inconvenience. Due to technical difficulties, tonight's performance must be canceled."
"Are you kidding me? We drove all the way here for this!" an angry voice called out.
"Seriously! Couldn't you have tested your equipment beforehand?" another person yelled.
Grumbling filled the air, but the staff's next announcement instantly silenced every complaint.
"As compensation, we'll refund triple your ticket cost! Plus, tonight's ticket grants you free admission to the same show at Bonnie Grand Theater with upgraded seating!"
Just like that, the mood shifted completely. Everyone started grinning. With triple refunds and a better show for free, who could stay mad?
