Evelin's POV
I froze as my eyes locked with Jimmy's.
One hand pressed against the mattress beside him, the other reaching across to grab the blanket from his far side. My upper body hovered over his in this awkward position.
The angle made it look like he was pinned beneath me while I loomed above.
His head tilted back slightly, lips moving without sound. That icy exterior he always wore had melted away, leaving behind something soft and dangerously alluring.
"Eve, aren't you even a little tempted to take advantage of me?" he whispered.
Is he pulling this act on purpose?
I arched an eyebrow. This vulnerable side of Jimmy was something I rarely witnessed, and somehow... it fascinated me.
"Do you actually want me to take advantage of you?" I shot back, letting my fingers trail up his throat and rest against his Adam's apple.
His mouth opened slightly, and I felt his Adam's apple shift under my touch. The tips of his ears flushed pink.
