Jimmy's POV
"Yeah. It was Rex Elysia, my brother," Evelin answered, completely oblivious to the shift in my demeanor. "Rex and I don't really look alike. I take after my dad, and he looks like my mom."
I pressed my lips into a tight line, my stare boring into the tall, polished man in the photograph.
I'd been aware for ages that Rex was missing and that Evelin had been hunting for him. I'd even sent my people to investigate, but this was my first glimpse of Rex's face.
If the guy in the photo is Rex, then... I thought.
"Have you decided what to order?" the owner shouted again.
Evelin shifted her focus back to the menu and looked at me. "Take a look and see if there's anything you want to eat."
But I didn't respond. My eyes remained glued to the photo on the wall.
"Jimmy?" Evelin said, raising her voice slightly.
"Huh?" I jolted back to reality.
"What's wrong? You look a bit pale. Are you feeling okay?" she questioned.
