Lara was unbelievably happy. The drive home from the wedding had been very quiet. But the silence was comfortable. Peaceful.
Neither Curtis nor Lara had to say anything to know what they were both feeling, and as they walked into their house, hand in hand, they knew what they were.
They were in love.
As soon as the door closed behind them, Lara turned to face him. The kids were with Laura for the night, and the entire house was devoid of bodyguards.
