Boom—

The dazzling blue light surged forward, and just as it was about to reach Ghidorah, an enraged figure suddenly burst through the ice from beneath the glacier. It was none other than Godzilla!

Roar—

Howl—

At this moment, the two behemoths, both bearing the title of Monster King, roared furiously at each other.

But compared to Godzilla, who stands nearly 119 meters tall and weighs 99,600 tons, Ghidorah's size was clearly much larger.

Its three heads, when standing upright, reached a height of 158.8 meters, more than half a head taller than Godzilla, and its wingspan was an astonishing 518.16 meters, while its weight was around 141,000 tons!

Whether in terms of height or tonnage, Godzilla had no chance against Ghidorah.

And that was indeed the case…

In fact, this was not the first encounter between these two Monster Kings.

As early as tens of thousands of years ago in ancient times, Ghidorah had an epic battle with Godzilla.

Since Ghidorah was an invasive species that traveled all the way from Venus and enjoyed wantonly altering Earth's natural environment according to its own preferences, Godzilla quickly sought it out to intervene.

However, in that war, Godzilla did not face Ghidorah alone, but rather teamed up with the Monster Queen Mothra, the Fire Demon Rodan, and many other Titans, forming multiple groups to tackle the BOSS, only then barely managing to defeat this uncrowned king among Titans!

Later, the defeated Ghidorah was sealed in ice by another peaceful and orderly ancient Titan, Snow Demon, near the entrance to the Inner Earth in Antarctica, which is precisely this current area.

This freezing lasted for tens of thousands of years!

So, with old and new grudges intertwined, the two Monster Kings immediately clashed upon meeting.

Godzilla charged first, sweeping away two of Ghidorah's heads that lunged at it with a single tail whip. Then, exploiting the fatal weakness of the opponent having no hands, it grabbed the neck of the third head, bit down with a crunch, and then shook it left and right, attempting to tear the head clean off.

However, Ghidorah's other two heads cooperated: one bit at Godzilla's vital points to rescue, while the other, after a brief charge, unleashed a Gravitational Ray at close range on Godzilla.

Boom—

Godzilla, unable to dodge, was struck in the body, falling backward and crashing heavily onto the glacier, causing the ice surface to tremble violently like an earthquake.

Roar—

Ghidorah, thinking victory was assured, let out a triumphant roar, as if saying to Godzilla: Come on, you stinky old bro, what are you without those helpers?!

With Godzilla's fiery temper, how could it tolerate that?

Buzz… buzz buzz… buzz buzz buzz…

Accompanied by an increasingly urgent buzzing sound.

The azure neutron flux began to transmit upwards along Godzilla's tail fin, finally converging in its mouth into a dazzling blue Atomic Breath.

You want to trade blows, old bro?

Ghidorah was naturally no stranger to Godzilla's ultimate move. As the opponent began to cast, it also started charging up.

Zzz—

The azure Atomic Breath sliced through the night sky, like a blue spear spanning heaven and Earth, blasting towards one of Ghidorah's heads…

However, Ghidorah showed no fear. That head agilely dodged the incoming Atomic Breath with a swift sidestep. Then, without giving Godzilla a chance to adjust its aim, the three heads, already poised to strike, simultaneously opened their mouths, unleashing three golden Gravitational Rays. Like three sharp swords, they converged in mid-air and then pierced towards Godzilla's chest.

Godzilla, seeing this, tried to use the hard dorsal fins on its back to block, but the power of the Gravitational Ray far exceeded expectations, directly knocking it to the ground. After rolling several times backward, it fell into the dark abyss created by the Base explosion behind it.

However, Ghidorah clearly had no intention of letting go of the nemesis who had frozen it here ten thousand years ago.

Its three heads recharged and gathered power, intending to deliver a finishing blow to Godzilla, who was attempting to climb back up from the abyss to continue the fight.

Boom boom boom—

Just then, Monarch Organization's argo, leading a large fleet of fighter jets, swooped down from the clouds. Dozens, even hundreds, of missiles rained down from all directions onto Ghidorah's entire body.

Flames shot into the sky, and explosions thundered!

Although these attacks caused no substantial damage to Ghidorah, like a toad jumping on one's foot, it doesn't bite but it's annoying. Coupled with the fact that its combat endurance had not yet returned to optimal levels after just thawing, Ghidorah finally decided not to prolong the fight, and fiercely flapped its wings to soar into the sky.

Roar—

A moment later, Godzilla, having climbed out of the abyss, let out a furious and unwilling roar, looking in the direction where Ghidorah had vanished. Then, it turned and leaped back into the abyss it had just climbed out of.

This battle… is not over yet!!!

On the argo.

"Immediately activate satellite scans to monitor Zero Monster's movements. Also, dispatch submarine units to track Godzilla's whereabouts underwater; he can lead us to Zero Monster!"

After giving instructions to the staff, Colonel Foster looked at Serizawa Ichiro and the others with a grim expression, coldly questioning:

"Now, Monarch Organization must give me a reasonable explanation. Why did Emma Russell cooperate with those 'ecological terrorists'? And why did she blow up Outpost 32, releasing the frozen Zero Monster?!"

"Colonel, with all due respect, I think you're mistaken."

Sam Coleman retorted righteously, "Dr. Emma would never do such a thing. At least half of the people on argo were personally recruited by her!"

"I know exactly what I just saw." Colonel Foster said, pointing at the other person's nose with an extremely firm tone:

"Most of my people are dead or wounded because of that bitch's insane actions, and you guys are still trying to cover up her crimes here?"

"I will report this matter truthfully to the Department of Defense and the Security Council, requesting them to issue a global warrant for Emma Russell!"

"Colonel, please calm down."

Vivienne Graham hurriedly stepped forward to comfort him, "Perhaps Allen Jonah coerced her using Madison… You've worked with us for so many years before; you must have some understanding of Emma's character…"

However, before she could finish speaking, Mark Russell, who had been silent all this time, suddenly interrupted, "Don't defend her anymore. Emma did it… No one forced her!"

Serizawa Ichiro exclaimed in disbelief, "Mark, are you… are you sure?"

Mark Russell nodded with a heavy expression, and Colonel Foster, seeing this, angrily questioned:

"Then tell me, why did your wife release Zero Monster with those 'ecological terrorists'? What are their intentions? What does she want to do?"

"Let me answer that question."

Dr. Chen, who bore some resemblance to Zhang Ziyi, slowly spoke, "If I'm not mistaken, Dr. Emma seems to intend to use the ORCA device to awaken those ancient Gods… *cough*, I mean Titans on a large scale globally!"

As Monarch Organization's sole Mythologist, Dr. Chen widely applied Mythology to research fields related to Titans.

By deeply analyzing the oldest indigenous belief systems and folk customs and legends from around the World, over the past decade or so, Dr. Chen and her family successfully helped Monarch Organization establish a dedicated species archive for Titans.

And her catchphrase: "Mythology is our compass," was even embraced by all Monarch Organization members.

Many even fanatically worshipped Titans as the Gods who ruled humanity and Earth in ancient times, just like her.

"Damn it, if that's true, it's going to cause a huge mess!"

Colonel Foster's face suddenly changed, and Mark Russell looked displeased at Serizawa Ichiro, "As the head of Monarch Organization, when you supported Emma in building a new ORCA device, did you never consider this problem?"

What else could Serizawa Ichiro say?

I did think about it, but at the time, my idea was the same as Emma's: I also wanted Titans to help humanity restore Earth's order and balance?

Although Serizawa Ichiro really wanted to say that, considering Colonel Foster, who had just lost a large number of soldiers, might "bang, bang" him twice for it, he ultimately held back.

"Wait a minute, guys, I don't understand. Why does Dr. Emma want to release all the Titans?"

Sam Coleman asked, bewildered, "And why did she specifically choose to team up with 'ecological terrorists' like Allen Jonah?"

No one seemed to have an answer to that question.

After a long silence, Serizawa Ichiro voluntarily stepped forward and said, "It seems all the answers can only wait until we find Dr. Emma and ask her in person."

… … … …

"BOSS, according to the latest satellite monitoring, Zero Monster disappeared in a tropical storm near Brazil, while Godzilla followed Emma Russell's plane, traveling all the way from Antarctica to near Mexico."

"Monarch Organization happens to have Outpost 56 there. If nothing unexpected happens, it's likely that crazy woman will release the Titan sleeping inside the volcano."

General Ross immediately reported everything he saw and heard within Monarch Organization to Karl, down to the smallest detail, his loyalty practically shining like the sun and moon.

"BOSS, I feel that the situation here at Monarch Organization is getting a bit out of control…"

At the end, General Ross cautiously asked, "Should I submit a proposal to the Department of Defense now, to activate the 'proxy combat' protocol in advance, on the grounds of preventing the disaster from spreading to the U.S. mainland?!"

"Don't rush, it's not time yet."

In Sokovia, Karl, who was currently comfortably seated on the Golden Throne, challenging Selena's 'silver-tongued' skill, said to General Ross on the other end of the phone:

"This incident is far more serious than Monarch Organization anticipated, and they made a colossal mistake from the very beginning, which was mistakenly believing Ghidorah… that is, what they call Zero Monster… to be an indigenous Earth Titan."

"Ah?" General Ross exclaimed in disbelief, "You mean… Zero Monster is actually an alien invasive species?"

"Exactly." Karl said blandly, "So it doesn't need to follow Earth's natural laws at all; it will transform Earth according to its own preferences!"

General Ross's heart immediately tightened, clearly realizing how terrifying the level of this disaster would be. However, reason told him that the man on the other end of the phone had full confidence in quelling this disaster… provided he was willing to act, and when he would act!

However, General Ross dared not rush the other party at all. As a qualified politician and a qualified subordinate, the first essential condition was to be composed enough.

After a slight pause for thought, he cautiously asked, "BOSS, what should I do next?"

"Do nothing. Remember, your role is merely an observer, so just sit back and enjoy the show."

Karl's speaking speed slightly quickened, and he reminded him meaningfully, "Aren't those extreme environmentalists in Monarch Organization constantly clamoring that Titans are the key to restoring Earth's order and natural balance?"

"Then let them see clearly how the Gods they worship treat humanity and Earth!"

For Karl, the bigger the incident, the wider its impact, the greater his ultimate gain. So, he wished Titans could turn this World upside down.

Moreover, if Godzilla didn't experience near-death, how could he smoothly bring Godzilla under his command to be his workhorse… ah, no, an employee?

Advance, Ghidorah, go!

"Ross, seize this opportunity well. If this incident is handled properly, it might become a stepping stone for you to advance further… Hiss!!!"

The call abruptly ended there. General Ross looked at the disconnected phone with a bewildered expression, not understanding what his boss's final "hiss" meant.

But then a look of fanaticism appeared on his face, because his boss had already pointed him in the right direction for what to do next.
