Chapter 49 - Chapter 48 Kurt, who has been out of touch with society for a long time

After unconsciously using the God Race's Force Storm Move, Kote stopped practicing the God Race's Moves for a while. After all, these attacks were too powerful; using them without the proper mindset would only lead him completely into the Dark Side. However, he could modify them to only affect people.

"The Clones have begun preliminary experiments, and soon your brothers will be born," Lana Sey said, showing Kote's Clone embryos.

"What is their growth rate?" Kote asked.

"According to your request, they will grow rapidly until they are twenty years old, then their growth will slow down, and they will not leave adulthood until they are fifty," Lana Sey explained the Clones' growth.

"Genetic modification is truly an amazing technology; it can alter a person's age and growth rate at will," Kote marveled at the abnormal nature of this technology.

"Assistant, have the droids transport all weapons and equipment to the future training facility."

"Understood, Commander."

Once all the weapons and equipment were unloaded, Kote bid farewell to Lama Su and the others, telling them to inform him if anything happened.

"The remaining blood is enough for us to create an army of one million, so there's no need to worry," Lana Sey said to the departing Kote.

"That's good. This is the down payment of one hundred million Republic credits. The remaining balance will be transferred once the first batch of troops completes training," Kote waved to everyone and boarded the hyperion, selecting Vadiel, and preparing to continue his pirate career to earn money for his outstanding balance.

Meanwhile, the fully recovered Nute Gunray had already become Governor in the last Trade Federation Council election, and all other Council members had been promoted to his own people. He even reinstated Dooku to his original position and promoted him to a Council Senator. Now he was flying on his private jet to Coruscant, preparing to protest to the Senate. The attack could not just be overlooked!

So, in the Senate, Nute Gunray expressed strong dissatisfaction with the Republic's investigation and began to attack the Wookiee Senator, believing they were behind everything, simply not wanting them to build a trade center on Alaris. He also protested the security issues in the Outer Rim, gaining the approval of many Outer Rim Senators. However, Speaker Kalpana had no solution for this and could only propose another meeting for discussion. But Governor Gunray completely ignored this, so the Trade Federation internally dispatched troops to Alaris to build the trade center.

The Wookiee, aware of this, immediately declared war on the Trade Federation, determined to reclaim their planet. The Republic, internally, had not yet decided whether to allow the Wookiee to colonize, but with the Trade Federation's offensive, after more than ten years of discussion, the Republic finally agreed to the Wookiee's colonization request.

However, on Alaris, the Trade Federation had already built outposts and deployed multiple droid armies across the entire planet. Qui-Gon and his apprentice, sent for colonial education, had no choice but to resist, but they were in a stalemate. Governor Gunray of the Trade Federation was determined to take Alaris, with new droid units arriving daily.

Far away in the Outer Rim's Mandalorian System, the New Death Watch once again successfully attacked a Corporate Alliance fleet. They returned to the New Death Watch base on a lucrehulk-class freighter provided by the Trade Federation. From the freedom, they unloaded the stolen goods into a warehouse, waiting for Vadiel's people to transport them back and sell them on the black market. After nearly a year, the New Death Watch's reputation had become extremely high throughout the Mandalore Sector.

Unlike the original Death Watch, the New Death Watch combated pirates and frequently cooperated with local police forces to protect the Mandalorian people. They also plundered cargo ships belonging to other large corporations and distributed half of the spoils to the Mandalorian people. Satine's government turned a blind eye to this, and many Mandalorians even wanted to join the New Death Watch. However, before joining, everyone had to go to Vadiel for ideological education; those who failed would be rejected.

Thus, throughout the Mandalore Sector, everyone knew that Governor Kote of Vadiel was the person behind the sponsorship of the New Death Watch, and the protection work of Free Mandalore was also underway. After all, it was a consensus among major corporations that if they did not hire Free Mandalore's forces, they would be plundered by the Death Watch. Only a few were still stubbornly resisting, such as the Corporate Alliance and the InterGalactic Banking Clan.

They couldn't even find the Death Watch's base when they wanted to send troops to attack, and escort teams were completely insufficient to fight them. So, gradually, they all succumbed to the protection of Free Mandalore. After all, the credits earned after completing trade were far more than the credits given to escort teams; it was merely a drop in the bucket.

Finally, Kote piloted the hyperion back to Vadiel's orbit. The hyperion no longer needed to hide and was parked at Starport Four. As soon as he returned to Vadiel, Murto rushed over with the latest news from the Republic.

"What?! The Trade Federation and the Wookiee are fighting? What? Nute Gunray of the Trade Federation Council became Governor, and Dooku also became a Senator?!" Kote looked at these recent news items as if he had arrived at the Clone Wars era. He didn't remember this period of history at all.

"That's right, great nephew. These are messages from almost a month ago. After all, you've been gone for almost half a year. Also, the Wookiee sent us a message wanting to hire us to help them reclaim Alaris, and even allowing us to invest in building factories and mining some mineral veins there," Murto said, relaying the news.

"Didn't I say to send me a message if anything happened? You should have informed me in time. So, have people been sent?"

"Not yet, we're still discussing the matter and how many people to send," Murto said.

"Everyone go to Starport Four, head to the hyperion, and transport the spacecraft and ground equipment onto the ship. This is a sure-fire profitable venture, we must go," Kote immediately arranged. Subsequently, a force of over two thousand people assembled, with many soldiers inside thrilled. After all, when they first saw the hyperion, they wanted to serve on it, and now their wish had finally come true.

Kote watched the warriors board the ship from below. "Why are there so many people?" Kote asked Omen beside him.

"It's the Death Watch armies from other planets before and those Death Watch members released from prison. They all joined our Free Mandalore to follow Boss Kote," Omen replied.

"How has the police force been recently?"

"They have been cooperating with our Death Watch, with no reactionary forces or major cases requiring Boss Kote's attention," Omen had already collected all this information and reported it to Kote one by one.

"Hmm, when the time comes, we will expand the scale of the Death Watch, not just in our Sector, but expand it to other Sectors to eradicate those pirates. Maybe then the Republic will give me the title of Pirate King," Kote instructed Omen.

"It's already been arranged, Boss. Only people with good morals can join the Death Watch. Currently, the entire Death Watch is controlled by Lei and Pre Vizsla."

"Pre Vizsla, is that Uncle Four's child?" Kote remembered the name.

"That's right, Pre Vizsla is your super fan, Boss, and he is very capable. Many of the raids were led by him personally," Omen said, recounting Pre Vizsla's achievements.

At this moment, the hyperion's equipment transport was complete, and it could now head to the Kashyyyk System.

"Let's go. This is our Free Mandalore's first opportunity to be known to everyone in the Galaxy. Let the entire Galaxy know that Free Mandalore is an organization that helps the weak," Kote patted Omen's shoulder, and the two of them were the last to board the hyperion
