Chapter 56 - chapter 56 :The Architects of the Broken Vow (Chapter 56) - The Triumph and the Tally

I. The Arrest and the Evidence

In the smoke-filled, freezing chalet office, the chaos was contained. Kim Seok-jin, defeated and snarling within the security net, was secured by Joon and local authorities, whose presence had been discretely arranged by Taehyung's legal team hours ago.

Taehyung handed the small USB drive—containing the mirrored evidence of patricide and corporate fraud—to the lead Swiss investigator.

"This drive contains the complete record of the former executive's crimes," Taehyung stated, his voice calm despite the adrenaline crash. "The destruction of the physical servers was an attempt to cover up his father's murder and subsequent asset stripping. This digital evidence proves the conspiracy and clears the name of the Taewon Group."

The evidence was immediately authenticated, and the warrants were executed. Kim Seok-jin was officially detained, ending his destructive run.

Taehyung, however, bypassed the legal bureaucracy. His war was not in the courtroom; it was in Seoul. He and Joon immediately departed for the airport, leaving the corporate legal team to manage the paperwork.

II. Resolution in Seoul

Taehyung landed in Seoul 12 hours later, exhausted but victorious. The first person to meet him was his security chief, who handed him a tablet showing the morning headlines.

Director Kang's emergency shareholder meeting had been called off.

Ha-eun had won the corporate battle. Her anonymous, calculated leak of the future dividend increase had bought the investors' silence, and her subtle threat regarding Director Kang's son had broken his nerve.

Taehyung walked straight to the war room. Ha-eun was still there, sitting exactly where he had left her 72 hours earlier, surrounded by financial projections and cold coffee cups.

"The board's quiet," Ha-eun said, her voice raspy from lack of sleep. "Director Kang is stepping down for 'personal reasons' within the month. They believed the Chairman was in control."

Taehyung set his briefcase down and simply looked at her—the woman who, despite immense psychological fragility, had used pure corporate intellect to save his empire. He felt a wave of protective relief and profound respect.

"The Architect is in custody," Taehyung confirmed. "You held the fort, Ha-eun. The Vow is safe."
