Chapter 21 - Code Name: Seduce 4

The two men sitting below Zylus's darkened presence leaned backwards against the ladies beside them, their confidence draining by the second.

"W-hat do you mean?" One of the older men stammered, refusing to meet Zylus's eyes.

"I said explain!"

Zylus slammed the table. He wasn't loud enough to draw attention, but the slam was hard enough to make both men flinch.

"Back to your corners!" The announcer yelled as the second round ended.

"Fine, fine!" The other man said quickly. "Just tell us what you want to know!"

"As much as I wish to kill you right now, I can't. Just explain what 'The Giant of Gon' was like." Zylus asked, as his glance shifted closer towards the two men who feared him.

With a shaken voice, the man sitting on the right of the table continued, "Nobody knew who he was outside; we just knew him inside the cage. Fighting for money, entertainment, and gifts."

"I need more!" Zylus now slammed the table with his right arm, as both men shifted their attention towards him.

He still wasn't loud enough to grab anyone else's attention beyond the two men in front of him.

"He would always show mercy." The person on the left of the table said, "He never fully killed off his opponents, but that was stupid. Because in the end, he always let himself be hurt." He said angrily.

Zylus pulled that man's collar. "Hey," Zylus looked down at his shirt, which had a name tag, "Fuck!"

"My name's not 'Fuck', sir, it's 'Puck.'-"

"I don't give a shit!" Zylus cut him short, "You little Fuck, don't disregard that man's mercy, he's worth ten billion of your wretched kind." Zylus then let go of that man's collar.

Both men opened up a bottle of whisky, as they smiled towards Zylus, "Want some?" They said, both of them with ugly smiles.

Zylus ignored them as he sighed, "Showing mercy, eh, that was just the type of man he was." Then, a tear started rolling under his eyes, knowing the man his father was had never changed, not even within the arena.

He then turned, and Emilia began to follow from behind.

"Hey, idiot, you're crying," Emilia said, as she smirked.

Zylus lifted his head, "It's just the rain." As he wiped down those tears with his expensive suit.

Emilia began to laugh, "No worries, we all cry." She smiled.

This was the first time Emilia ever expressed herself kindly to Zylus. It felt like she had something in common with what Zylus was currently facing, which helped her understand him better, in a mutual aspect.

"Okay," As Zylus wiped away all his tears, his face turned serious once more, "We're still not done here. Sorry for going off task." He proclaimed.

"No problem," Emilia finished, as she now stood side by side with him.

Their chemistry has grown, and they could both tell, but none of them wanted to admit it. As they continued to walk around the arena, they glanced to the left side, watching Frey and Zenos speaking with a table surrounded by beautiful females.

"We can't let them outdo us," Zylus said.

"Maybe only you, but definitely not me." Emilia smiled as she took a step ahead of Zylus.

"Do you have a death wish? Watch where you're walking."

Zylus looked upwards slowly. He stared at a man who towered over him; he was definitely well over two meters tall. He was bald, scarred all over, and built like something meant for violence. His right eye was cut off completely, and only an eyepatch covered it. Emilia stepped forward instinctively.

"Relax," Zylus said, raising a hand in front of her face. "I've got this."

That man stared down at Zylus, "I heard you were messing with the men who hired me." He stretched his arm backwards, preparing to punch Zylus recklessly. "Apologize right now, and I'll let you go."

Zylus stared upwards, his grin was large, and clearly, a nerve struck the man who wanted to punch Zylus.

"Yeah, that's the man! Go kill him, Rock!"

"Kill that guy!"

Both the men from earlier that Zylus threatened had now come back, with one reinforcement, to take vengeance on him.

Now, the entire crowd began to pay attention to what was happening with Zylus instead of the fight inside the arena, seeing the two of them square up to one another. The man, who was named 'Rock', was two hundred and thirteen centimetres tall, dressed in a poorly looking, ripped grey coat, with a muscular, shaped body, a bald head that went with that, and slashes that covered his entire face, including his right eye.

"My men want me to kill you, you see." He said, pressing his hand on Zylus.

However, Zylus pressed back, "Oh yeah? I wanna see you try it."

The man named 'Rock' rolled his fist back as he went in for a punch using his right arm.

Bang!

"A direct hit!" The announcer yelled, as the fight in the arena paused, everyone's attention now fully shifted to Zylus versus Rock.

"Was that all you could do?" Zylus said, lifting his head upwards.

The punch didn't do anything; Zylus felt no pain, no fear, and he didn't move back an inch. His face only curved to the right, but his smile stayed. Then, Rock angrily began to continue.

"He's still standing!" The announcer yelled as the crowd went wild.

"How the fuck?!" One of the men that Zylus threatened earlier yelled, "Rock! Kill him, or else your family dies!"

In fear of losing his family, the man continued to hit punch after punch towards Zylus. But it did absolutely nothing. The man began to lose energy, as Zylus remained in the same position he had always been in.

"What are you made out of?!" Rock yelled, each punch direct.

Zylus smiled, "Me? You'll see... But now, it's my turn."

Zylus rolled his sleeve back, getting ready to punch.

Bang!

It wasn't the man proclaimed as 'Rock' he had punched, but it was the two men controlling him. And those two men, both fainted, as Zylus speed blitzed them both. He didn't use any system abilities or his weapon, only his physical Demon capabilities.

"Find freedom," Zylus said quietly, "Don't waste your life following scum."

Afterwards, that man began to run out of the arena, as he waved Zylus goodbye.

"I'm free!"
