Chapter 3 - Ch 3 - The caveman lifestyle.

Chapter 3: The caveman lifestyle.

David giggled to himself as he walked, on a power trip high from the existence of his new golden finger combined with the thought of being in a weaker verse. His own shut-in lifestyle causing the suddenness of the situation to bloom into an instant-baked ego.

Of course, whilst this wouldn't last forever - his lack of danger right now let his stupid thoughts fester. He simply kept walking mindlessly, the path he was trodding opening to the entrance of the cave.

'Main character luck, eh? A perfect abode. Maybe with treasures too.'

David walked towards the cave, then eventually inside. What he was met with was a mixed disappointment, really nothing. Whilst he had found some wetness from condensation on the rock walls, and some stuff gathered as if it was an animals abode, David took the route of the worst guest and simply sat down inside, not bothering for etiquette.

'An animal? I could turn it to mist with a slap, I'm cell!'

Despite amusedly sitting down, David didn't really have anything to do. Not like anything was coming back immediately soon, and he didn't even have a wink of Ki control, so trying to be Yamcha and floating around Ki balls was out of the question - but it's not necessarily like it was totally impossible, was what David thought. He assumed he had Cell's talent, and so Ki control shouldn't be too hard to grasp. Taking the classic criss-cross applesauce stance, and closing his eyes like a true venerable master - he attempted to look into himself.

'What the hell is even looking into yourself?'

He said, sighing very quickly. He had no spirit world, nor bankai - so why would he get anywhere from just trying to be quiet? It took even Goku, who himself could copy and use the Kamehameha with one look significant training to sense Ki. And even going off that, David assumed pushing out a beam of energy was significantly different from trying to feel it and know what you're feeling.

Assuming he should just try the brute force method, David outstretched his lanky bug-like arm - palm outstretched. Despite having no clue on how to proceed, he simply stared at his hand, aggressively squinting similarly to how people try to levitate the remote with their mind. Whilst this didn't cause anything to come out of his hand, rather - similarly to a green haired spiky boy his vision shifted, the world turning a hue of blue and black, finer details blurring and his vision distance dropping harshly.

'Wha?'

Briefly confused, he looked around - noticing some more prominent blurry blues across his body - just as quickly as he realized what was going on, his vision returned to normal.

Confused yet again by the shift back, David thought to himself what the hell happened. Confused for a moment, his mind raced with thoughts - then with the temporary state of vision he had.

'Perhaps, I used Ki on my eyes rather than my hand?'
