Synopsis
Where did all my muscles go?! When Cheon Yun-jae wakes up, he finds himself in the body of Cha Do-young, the sickly older brother of the heroine in a romance webtoon. To make matters worse, Cha Do-young is a minor character who dies by suicide due to bullying. But Cheon Yun-jae—or rather, Cha Do-young—doesn’t want to die by suicide, not even a little. He decides to change the story… but things start going strangely! “Tell me. Who bullied you?” “From now on, I’ll protect you.” From the male leads who come to deliver the words meant for the heroine, to the system messages constantly warning him whenever he tries to do anything, survival in this overly complicated romance comic is no easy task. Can Do-young make it through alive? [Preview] “Look at that totally ferocious cat.” “What?” “What was it doing earlier?” “No, right now… but that thing… no matter how you look at it, it’s a beast, isn’t it?” [Comments] [LOL, the ferocious cat joke! Just got goosebumpsㅋㅋㅋ] [As soon as the cat appeared, it was over!! Victory!! Cha Do Young, confirmed heroine role] [Love that they called it ‘totally ferocious’ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ] [It’s funnier that they’re seriously correcting it as a wild beastㅋㅋㅋ] [Cha Do-young is really crossing the point of no return] [Can’t match its size, but if you want to win, you gotta biteㅋㅋㅋ] [Wait, you’re biting someone else’s hand and still the heroine’s roleㅋㅋ This comic’s too cruelㅋㅋㅋ] [How is this even supposed to go;;] [Just win first] [Should’ve bitten the ear, pity Do-young] [Smells… smells like… delicious] Chaotic comments flood in, and Do-young has no idea what they’re talking about. Something about a ferocious cat, a wild beast… Is it because he’s biting? And the comments about the heroine role—why on earth are they talking about that? He couldn’t understand it at all. Meanwhile, Ji-hoon, the one being bitten, screams as if he’s losing his mind. It’s so chaotic that Do-young can barely think—but honestly, it doesn’t really matter to him right now. Eventually, after taking another hit from a rage-filled Ji-hoon and falling down, Do-young bursts into laughter even while sprawled out. He had sworn he would bite at least once, and wow… actually biting made the tension in his heart loosen just a little. He knows it’s crazy. But when a mouse is cornered, it bites the cat—so how could he survive without biting? People keep calling me crazy… but now you see just how terrifying crazy can be, huh?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

#1

Cheon Yun-jae was utterly bewildered.

In a strange room, staring at a strange reflection in the mirror, his fingertips trembled as they traced an even stranger face.

"…What… what on earth is happening?"

A delicate voice, one he had never heard before, made him shiver.

The last thing he remembered was falling asleep in his own room, just like any other day.

Yes, he had felt a bit restless before sleep because of a minor issue earlier—but that could never explain waking up in a completely unfamiliar room as someone else entirely.

His ten fingers, all slim and delicate, were nothing like his own.

And it wasn't just his hands. The pretty face in the mirror, his petite frame, the arms and legs… every detail was so fragile and small that it couldn't be compared to the original Cheon Yun-jae.

No… surely not.

No matter how pretty he had become… just to be safe, he peeked beneath his pants.

'…It's still there.'

Right. Everything else may have changed, but at least that wasn't lost.

He pinched, twisted, and poked himself as if to test whether he was dreaming—but all that remained was an increasing, sharp ache.

"…Okay, got it."

No. This isn't a dream.

'Ah… it hurts so much.'

Yun-jae clutched his reddened cheeks as his eyes darted in disbelief. What on earth had happened while he was asleep?

If it wasn't a dream, then someone must have broken into his apartment, carefully abducted him without waking him, performed a full-body plastic surgery, brought him here, dressed him in neat pajamas, and laid him on the bed…

Yun-jae quickly realized this was an absurd delusion.

At twenty-four, living a perfectly ordinary life, no one would waste that much money and effort just to mess with him.

'Even if it were my parents' enemies, I doubt they'd go this far…'

His trembling eyes scanned the room cautiously. Nothing seemed unusual. The room was neat, tidy… ordinary. Everything was normal except that he had no idea whose room it was—or where he even was.

Then his gaze fell on a navy school uniform neatly hung on a hanger. Like a magnet, his feet moved toward it. His hand brushed the left chest of the jacket, where three neat letters were embroidered: 'Cha Do-young.'

"…Cha Do-young?"

It was a huge hint—but Yun-jae knew nothing about Cha Do-young.

No matter how deeply he searched his memory for anyone he knew, the name was unfamiliar. Was it really? Really? University, high school, middle school, elementary… even kindergarten—he went back through his memories relentlessly. He clutched his hair with both hands.

'So this face belongs to Cha Do-young?'

Of course, it made sense. Cha Do-young was in Cha Do-young's room. Perfectly natural.

The problem was that inside Cha Do-young's body… was Cheon Yun-jae.

It was completely beyond his understanding.

Helpless, Do-young paced around the small room on his tiny feet.

"…What should I do now?"

'Scared.'

At first, it was just absurd. No matter how calmly he thought about it, Yun-jae couldn't understand what had happened—or what he was supposed to do next.

When ignorance reaches this level, fear gradually fills the empty space around him.

'Where is the real Cha Do-young?'

 Why am I here?

What about my original body? Can I go back?

Returning to the mirror, Yun-jae locked eyes with the unfamiliar boy staring back at him.

Fear made him instinctively step back.

'What if I can't go back? What am I supposed to do here?'

The thought of being lost in an unimaginable place made him dizzy and even nauseous. His already trembling legs gave out completely, and he collapsed.

'Maybe I should just escape quickly.'

He thought about it—but he couldn't summon the courage to leave, uncertain what might await outside.

'Then maybe I should just get back into bed and pretend to sleep.'

Perhaps it would be better to observe first and wait for the right moment.

Then it happened.

Suddenly, a knock sounded on the door, piercing the stillness of the room where only Yun-jae's heavy breathing could be heard.

It was just an ordinary knock—but Yun-jae, startled as if struck by lightning, jumped up with a thud. Naturally, he landed hard on his backside.

'What… who is it?'

 What should I do?

 I haven't decided anything yet!

Before he could even hide, the door swung open.

"Oppa! What was that sound just now?"

'Oppa?'

The unexpected word made Yun-jae lift his head in surprise.

In his imagination, a burly intruder would have stormed in, demanding Cha Do-young be handed over, grabbing him by the collar.

But the actual person who appeared was far from threatening.

'Cha Do-young?'

No. No.

His gaze traced from the face identical to Cha Do-young's down to the long hair and school uniform skirt.

She seemed slightly shocked at seeing him collapsed. Yun-jae, still dazed, read the name tag on her chest: 'Cha Do-hee.'

"…Cha Do-hee?"

"Oppa. What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

She repeated "Oppa" several times, but Yun-jae couldn't respond.

Cha Do-hee. That name triggered a memory he hadn't recalled with just Cha Do-young.

The twin siblings, Cha Do-young and Cha Do-hee, had just entered high school.

'How do I even know this?'

"This… it's the webtoon I saw yesterday…"

Then—

A loud, piercing sound directly struck Yun-jae's mind.

[WARNING]

 [WARNING]

 [WARNING]

 [An unknown error has occurred.]

[Some programs will be forcibly terminated.]

'What now?'

Before he could process it, his vision suddenly dimmed.

'Huh? The lights… went out…'

"O-Oppa!"

Cha Do-hee's terrified voice faded, and Yun-jae's memory cut off.

'Ah… it was me being forcibly terminated?'

Looking back, Yun-jae realized this must have been the start of everything.

He had been taking a break from homework, reading a webtoon.

Yun-jae had loved comics since he was a child—paper books, webtoons, popular or obscure, adventure manga, or sweet romance—he read everything.

So reading this webtoon wasn't special at all…

[Unforgivable]

[Description: To avenge her twin brother who committed suicide after severe bullying, Do-hee decides to take her brother Do-young's place and hide his death. Punishments? Transfers? No, that's not what she wants. She wants to reveal the hell she endured when discovering her broken half. But living as Do-young in the boys' school is far more difficult than expected, and alone, Do-hee can't punish the perpetrators as she wishes. That's when she meets two helpers, Kang Hyun and Lee Jin-ha, who whisper sweet words to her.

 "Should I help you?"

 "I'll protect you."

Can she complete her brother's revenge and return to being Cha Do-hee?]

Though it was only the early part of the series, it received a decent response. The art was excellent, and despite some provocative content, commenters often praised the plausibility of Cha Do-hee's beauty—even when disguised as Cha Do-young. Yun-jae also found it genuinely entertaining.

'Yeah. It should have just ended there.'
