Time had been passing by far too quickly. I was already in my fourth month of pregnancy, and if I had thought my freedom was limited before, it was nothing compared to now.
There was always someone watching me whenever Vincent was not around, and it felt suffocating. I could not shake the feeling that even my phone had been compromised, that he had somehow hacked it, making it impossible for me to keep even the smallest secret to myself.
Aside from my freedom, I could not complain much. Vincent had become easier to talk to, though he still kept a careful distance from me. He never crossed it.
I had been introduced to the pack, and even those who did not like me because I could not shift had no choice but to tolerate me now. My pregnancy had made me untouchable in their eyes.
Most of my days were spent in the backyard garden, doing nothing, much like every other day. Sitting, walking, sleeping.
