He guided me in a few more paces, the air inside smelling faintly of expensive cedar and fresh lilies. "Okay... now."
He removed his hands.
I blinked, my breath catching in my throat. This wasn't a guest room or an office. Leon had transformed the entire wing into a private sanctuary. Warm amber light washed over the space, casting a soft glow on the polished hardwood floors, where a carpet of deep red rose petals spiraled around my feet like a fragrant, forbidden sea.
"This..." I started, my voice failing me.
"This is your space, Beck," Leon whispered, his chin resting comfortably on my shoulder as he watched my reaction. "A place for you to prepare, to create, and to feel like the star you are."
I felt my chest tighten with exhilaration, my heart racing like a drum. Wow… baby, are you serious?
"Yes, my love," he said softly. "It's yours. Only yours."
