~Becklan's POV~
"Wake up, birthday boy," a low, velvet voice rumbled near my ear.
I let out a soft groan, pretending to protest as I pushed my face further into the pillow, though the smile spreading across my lips gave me away. The mattress dipped as Leon moved closer, and a second later his arm slipped beneath the covers, drawing me back against his warm, solid body.
"Mmm... five more minutes," I mumbled, my voice thick with sleep.
"As much as I'd love to spend the entire day tangled up in these sheets with you," Leon murmured, his breath warm against my skin as his fingers traced slow, lazy patterns along my side, "we have a long list of surprises waiting. And I'm pretty sure a certain famous model deserves to start his big day with a proper celebration."
"So… are you ready to see what I have planned for you?"
I slowly opened my eyes and found him leaning over me, one elbow resting on the bed, his gaze fixed on my face, the look in his eyes, soft, warm, completely devoted.
