Chapter 32 - chapter thirty two

I woke up in the morning with difficulty

Not because I did not sleep

But because sleep was not enough

I sat at the table to have breakfast

Its presence felt like a sign of a new day

Despite everything that happened yesterday

After a few minutes I stood up

And left the house

The street was quiet

The air slightly cold

As if the city itself was still waking up

I arrived at the university

Students moving quickly

Their conversations passing around me like cold air

Everything felt normal in an annoying way

I sat in my seat inside the lecture hall

Placed my bag under the table

Leaned back

Tried to look normal

But inside my thoughts never stopped

I tried to focus on the professors words

But my mind was still heavy

As if someone left it running all night and never shut it down

I closed my eyes for a few seconds

Breathed slowly

Waited for the familiar sensation

Nothing

No sudden headache

No pressure behind my eyes

No charged silence before a vision

Just exhaustion

Maybe this is better

I told myself

Maybe today I just need to be a student

Suddenly

The professor stopped talking

The lecture hall door opened slowly

A new student entered

Someone I had never seen before

It was not his entrance that caught my attention

But the way he entered

He did not hesitate

Did not look around

He stood near the door

Calm

As if he knew exactly where he was

He raised his head

Looked directly at me

With steady focus

Longer than any look I was used to

I felt a shiver

My heart beat faster

My mind tried to understand what was happening

But I could not

He smiled

A short smile

Not friendly

But not hostile

As if he was saying I know you

Then he started moving

With calculated steps

A strange calm

Heading toward the back seat

I followed him with my eyes

Every movement controlled

Every step precise

As if the entire hall went silent around him

Before he sat down

He looked at me again

A longer look

Lasted only seconds

But felt like hours

He sat

Calm

Still

As if he had always been part of the hall

I looked back at my notebook

Tried to focus on the lecture

But everything felt empty

As if every word passed by me

Never touching my mind

After the lecture ended

Students started leaving

Footsteps

Laughter

Conversations

Ordinary life

I stood up slowly

Picked up my bag

And looked toward the back seat one last time

The new student was gathering his things

Calmly

The same stability

The same control over the atmosphere

He did not look at me

Yet I felt everything was still connected to his gaze

As if it left a small mark inside my mind

I left the hall

The street looked normal

But something felt different

Notifications on my phone

Evaluations

The organization

The third party

Everything pressed on me

Every step followed by invisible eyes

I realized then

This day was not just a new beginning

Nor a simple attempt to return to normal

It was the beginning of a chain of surveillance

To test my reactions

To observe me

To measure my ability

And to begin the real game

What the eyes see

Is only a small part

Of what happens behind them

And the danger was not

Suddenly the phone rang

The sound was sharp

Direct

As if it was telling me

This is not over yet
