Ana's POV
Ridley stormed over and snapped at Will, his voice cutting through the air like ice.
Will's eyes darkened with malice, a cruel smirk twisting his lips.
"Ridley, Ana's dress is drenched. Let me help her get changed, yeah?" Will said, forcing his voice to sound casual.
"I'll handle it," Ridley replied, his tone arctic.
Ridley fixed Will with a glacial stare before heading straight toward me.
Then Aileen suddenly cried out, pulling Ridley's focus away.
"Aileen, what happened?" Ridley asked.
Aileen doubled over, clutching her leg and grimacing.
"When my sister shoved me earlier, I wrenched my ankle. It's still not right. These heels were a mistake," Aileen whimpered.
Elodie rushed to steady Aileen, her face twisted with concern before she whirled on Ridley. "Your wife injured Aileen, and now she can't even dance! Yet you had the guts to drag her here tonight—what the hell were you thinking?"
"Help me with Aileen!" Elodie barked.
