Chapter 55 - Chapter 54: Nadeko Mangoka

Yuki turned her head back to stare at the woman, her hands gripping around her holstered pistols once again, she didn't know who this woman were they after her uncles? She couldn't care less about this woman's petty feelings about her family*. "You must be her then… the one that took the girl from the school?"

"…I wish I could answer your question, Sadly…I don't know who you're talking about in specific. I've been to many schools, and many places to capture young women. I'm afraid whoever you're looking for is simply a blip on the radar."

"What about Ashina… how many did you take from…?" She gripped the pistol's hilts tightly, preparing for any quick movements.

"I don't have a count. Maybe hundreds. Maybe thousands. However many I see fit for our operation."

"Then yeah you're the one…" She quickly unholstered her pistols at extreme speeds and pointed them at the woman, readying her trigger fingers.

"You intend to hurt me with little toys? Maybe I won't even bother with you. You wouldn't suffice for my project."

"Toys huh?" Yuki laughed at Nadeko's remarks. "Maybe I can show you how these toys work, your little soldiers sure didn't take them too well…"

"They're foot soldiers that serve the Fuhrër. I don't give a damn about them. They're a means to an end."

"And youre just an obstacle in the road to getting my sister back! Fuck you and your means to an end!"

"Is the little girl mad? What are you going to do? Throw a tantrum? Maybe I was right to take your sister over you. You're just an angry teenage girl." She looked down on Yuki, almost out of pity with the guns aimed at her face.

Yuki smirked and bit her lip trying to hold herself back. "Where did you take them lady?"

"I don't think you want to hear…I'll do you a favor and spare the details on what's happening to her right now."

"Nah, TELL ME YOU FUCKING BITCH BEFORE I SPLATTER YOUR BRAINS ON THE DESERT SAND!"

"….Well…initially I needed a blood sample for her to become a soldier…but…honestly we didn't know that the blood would be so strong. So we started draining her. With her blood, we were able to strengthen our soldiers. Eventually she'll end up like the rest. We'll impregnate her sooner rather than later, and we'll use her to continue our plan. Usually we just take smaller women, younger girls and women…but honestly the Zenin dna is groundbreaking…that's about it."

"So what? You're just some blood thief that can't get their own power then? My blood is more potent than cynil's and her nature just wouldn't translate to soldiers well enough… you really took a loss with her…"

"Thats actually untrue..because all we need is the blood itself. Being combat adept isn't inherently genetic. So you proved to me that you're retarded, and you sit here and whine and throw a tantrum. No man would go near you, let alone any scientist in your lifetime. Your sister is feminine, she's submissive, she's able to be molded into a soldier and a good housewife for the Führer. You're just some emotional teenager who thinks running around with guns is still in style."

Nadeko Paused, laughing in Yuki's face.

"To which, it's not. We didn't take a loss..and to top it off she's the daughter of Toshiro Zenin. I say we hit the fucking lottery..meanwhile you're pointing an empty gun in my face trying to appear as some monster.."

Nadeko walked a bit closer to her, getting in her face and moving past the barrel of Yuki's gun.

"You are nothing. You are nothing but a lost child…and the next time you see your sister..is going to be when she also tells you that to your face, because she understands that we are the true humans. We are the superior race..and she is the superior sister."

Yuki slid her left handed pistol under Nadeko's chin and pulled the trigger firing off a mana blast from her gun.

"I don't care what you think about me. I only care about Cynil's well being so obviously you are the real retarded one thinking I give a fuck about you or any of the people in your operation!"

When Yuki fired the bullet, it immediately bounced off her skin, ricocheting and slamming into the ground. Nadeko looked at her, even chuckling to herself. She reached out and tapped her pistol, as if it were a dog.

"What silly toys. What low level weapon."

Yuki flipped forward and shot mana bolts down onto Nadeko. Clearly saving her Tokubetsu for an eventual attack. She glared at Tengoku as she slid across the borderlands.

"You gonna help me or not asshole?!"

"I don't know..You said I couldn't handle you."

Even in a time like this Tengoku found it easy to play around. He yawned and sat in the sand, a front row seat to the battle if you will. Nadeko moved around as she looked on at Yuki's movements, not attacking Tengoku just yet. In her mind she was harmless.

Yuki sprinted in a chase after Nadeko, blades coming out of the bottom of her boots as she moved upward, using mana shots to propel herself. Nadeko aimed at Yuki, red mana started to form around her hands as she continued to flee her. She aimed at her, the mana in her hands surging. Yuki dashed towards Nadeko firing off multiple shots of mana before charging them up in her pistols, producing an ultra charged shot of mana.

"You won't be able to beat her without me, because your weapons are essentially useless against her."

Tengoku continued to watch, talking to himself in the process.

Nadeko blocked them easily, before charging up and firing a huge red beam straight for Yuki, the mana ripping up the ground as the attack headed for her. Yuki fired off her charged shot straight for Nadeko's beam, clashing with it. Nadeko moved around the beam as it dissipated, slamming her hand straight into Yuki's chest, chopping her hard.

Yuki gasped for air as she got sent flying back, she stomped her feet into the ground for a recovery.

"D-Damn it!"

"Looks like you need me to handle you. You're not exactly winning." Tengoku watched from a distance still. The two ignoring each other still.

Yuki didn't answer Tengoku, she wasn't going to sit there and let this guy dictate this fight, if he wanted to join that was his decision and if he didn't then fine she didn't really care. She stretched her fingers and suddenly her nails grew sharp and large almost like blades, her veins in her fingers popped with the movement. She dashed towards Nadeko kicking up dust behind her as she did so.

"Ah. Body modification. I've seen those tricks before little girl. Though I guess that could be useful for my soldiers. Your DNA may be somewhat valuable now that I think about it. I mean, think about it. Biologically and ethically, you can't breed with Zenin blood…but if we were to subdue and use you…We could make pure zenin with one hundred percent zenin blood..even purer than Ashi Zenin's.

She put eyes on the girl charging her, before her eyes started beating, almost like a heartbeat.

"I'll grant you permission, and the luxury to see my heart. To see my soul. To see my blood. I'll allow you to see my Tokubetsu.."

She grinned as her eyes started to vibrate more and more, her pupils moving in a strange fashion.

Yuki charged forward, her own eyes had been locked onto Nadeko, unfortunately she couldn't access any of the true Zenin abilities at her age and lack of training. However, she did not care for such powers as they didn't make her feel any less of her father's spawn. She moved again, zigzagging left and right almost mimicking her cousins at the dodgeball game and went in for a multitude of slashes.

Something red started to form around Nadeko, almost shielding her passively. She stepped back. The red liquid started to sharpen, moving to cut and attack Yuki.

"Ngh!" Yuki dodged the first few slashes and got hit by the follow up cutting her arm open, she met the follow up slashes with her own clashing as the blood flew with each clash.

And then, everything froze.

Nadeko had stopped fighting for a second because she sensed a being close by. A boy, maybe a slight bit older than Tengoku and Yuki had appeared on the scene. Perhaps the word 'appeared' is the incorrect term. He may have been there the entire time.

Nadeko had thought that off of the color of her eyes alone she was scary, but there was something about the boys stare that, even with her own life experience somehow sent a shiver down her spine. He was dressed in normal clothes. Jeans, sneakers, a black striped shirt with a jean jacket over it. He had a rather solemn expression on his face, but those eyes. She couldn't get over it. His hair blew in the wind, the sand flowing around him as he spoke.

"Hey…What the fuck is going on? You know homeless people try to sleep here right? Can I get some rest or are you two going to keep playing games around these parts?"

He was genuine. He didn't care about the weight of what was going on. He was genuinely trying to sleep.

Yuki dashed backwards, not taking her chances, she continued staring Nadeko down using the distraction to dash back at her and launch another onslaught of her assassination techniques. Slashing repeatedly left and right.

"You see what's going on huh?! Maybe you should help!!"

Nadeko tried to move but her muscles bulged. She looked towards the boy. His mana could be felt by Yuki, but he didn't move a single inch from where he was. She struggled before she moved her hand to her face in desperation. She grunted and reached in her back pocket, throwing down a device as smoke appeared all over the battleground, attempting to blind everybody there.

Yuki, the one experienced in chicanery like this, had placed her own purplish smoke as Nadeko did so as well, her eyes continued to stay locked on to Nadeko as her body became a form of the smoke itself, she appeared behind Nadeko from the smoke and jabbed her hand forward in an attempt to stab Nadeko in the back.

The boys aura had made her stumble slightly at the movement towards Nadeko but recovery was nonetheless successful.

Nadeko vanished, a small cut forming as she dodged Yuki's blade. She appeared back in motion, moving for Machigai first. That aura was far too much to handle for her current body. She needed to get rid of him!

Yuki gave chase through the fog following behind Nadeko quickly. Her trail was only visible to Machi himself. She shot mana bolts at Nadeko from the mist to try and trip her up while giving chase.

Nadeko sent a blast straight at Yuki's feet. They started to fire off in succession, destroying the area around the ground that Yuki stepped on.

Yuki dodged left and right avoiding the craters in the ground from the blasts, completely disappearing from sight. She dashed to Nadeko's left side and shot off bullets. As she did so, she tri eto get around her.

The bullets bounced off Nadeko's skin. Her eyes darted as she spun around Yuki, grabbing her by her hair and dragging her through the sand. The second dirtiest trick in the book.

Yuki stuck her arms outwards to stop the sudden dragging, she pushed off the ground and brought her guns up to Nadeko's face, she fired off multiple shots while aiming close to her face.

The bullets continued to bounce off. No effect. A silent gaze, before she lifted her foot. In shocking manner she kicked Yuki in the crotch, the dirtiest trick in the book, and a low blow.

She always tended to play these games, even in her old hometown. There was this stigmatism that floated around that low blows would only hurt men. That was completely untrue. A low blow was a low blow, and currently Nadeko needed to flee to report Machi's existence to her superiors.

Yuki dropped down holding her crotch, she yelled out in pain and winced as she laid on her side, she pulled a tag out of her pocket made from Mana and shot it at Nadeko, connecting with her leg but doing no damage. It lit up on her leg then vanished

Nadeko flashed and vanished before her eyes, not noticing the tag one bit.

"Higher ups? Whatever..as long as shes done."

Machi looked on at Yuki as she was in pain. He walked over slowly approaching her. He stared at her for a few seconds before offering his hand to her to help her up. Yuki looked up at him and grabbed his hand to pull herself up, even with her lack of care she was pretty annoyed with Tengoku's lack of assistance just to prove a point and was ready to lay into him, she looked over at Machi and nodded her head.

"Thanks, you helped a lot more than that asshole over there…"

"You didn't even care if I helped. So I studied the opponent instead. Classic tactic Yuki-San."

He put his hands in his pockets.

"I don't know if you could beat her next time."

"Yeah but if you see me getting my ass kicked, my vagina stomped in, and face dragged through the dirt- as my friend you should have helped!" She pouted and turned her head, still holding her stomach a bit.

"Yeah I don't know if I could beat her next time either!"

"Okay Okay. I promise next time it'll be me and you versus her. I figured out her tactics and her tokubetsu..okay?"

"Fine! But don't expect any forgiveness until then!"

Yuki looked down at the palms of her hands.

"I put a tag on her.. it's tracking her mana signature, so we should be able to find Cynil easily."

"Well hopefully I get a dinner with you in a nice dress afterwards.."

He rolled his eyes.

"Look…first things first…She has a passive spell activated. An anti magic barrier. That's why your bullets aren't hitting her…until she deactivates that barrier no spells or mana based attacks will work on her, and physical damage will be mitigated."

"You won't get shit with me afterwards and if you think I'm a dress wearing girl then you're completely wrong about me!"

Yuki almost ignored his explanation.

"At least we have her location, brute force won't work so we'd have to catch her off guard… if you could sap her mana or negate it then we might be set."

"That's the problem. I think she has the ability to control blood. If I get near her she might be able to drain me or damage me greatly..So we're going to have to work together with a plan in order to beat her."

"I can be a distraction if needed, my range can keep her at bay and she would be willing to approach me just like before. We just need to wait and watch where she goes…"

"I'm also worried about the fact that she may have not shown the full extent of her abilities…but i'm willing to follow you if you can track her down now.."

"Of course… maybe we can see…" She located the signal and the direction it was heading in. "North east… far away from our nations, more of a savage land than the borderlands themselves…"

"That doesn't sound good for us..You sure us two alone are enough to travel that far? Might take us a day on foot.."

Yuki looked at Machi and tilted her head.

"Hey, that bitch disturbed your sleep, do you want to help us?" She winked at him. "If you help us I'll get you a place set up in my kingdom!"

"Huh? You're royalty?.." He looked confused. "Kingdom?...So you have your own kingdom?.."

"Of course, I'm technically a princess of two kingdoms. My father and mother both have land that they rule over but they're married so the lands are under the same rule."

"Huh...Never heard of them..." He shrugged. "Yeah..a place to stay sounds nice. Give me the run down..My mom is good with this stuff. She Taught me a good amount."

"Well we got a place close to the palace, it's a nice place, it's only a one bedroom but it's got a kitchen, bathroom, basement, and an attic"

"Hm. I want my own chef then. I hate cooking..You can swing that to happen as royalty right?"

"Of course! It's not that much of an expectation honestly but we can do that!"

"Consider it done. I'll join your little team here and eliminate that girl for you…but I do not hold back whatsoever. If you truly want her gone, I will make sure of it..but it won't be a fight. It'll be more like a bloodbath. I don't know if you want to see that."

"I would LOVE to see that actually! Consider it done! You'll have your chef and whatever the hell you want!"

"Alright. You lead us with your tracker. You said you can catch her signature."

Yuki closed her eyes and began walking to the northeast, away from the border of Ashina into formerly uncharted lands, it was quite illegal for kids without a travel license to do so but it mattered little to her as she had experienced the land of Shibuya and its people previously. She knew exactly what she was getting into.
