Albert found it difficult to describe it using any language meant for humans.

The enormous adult baby-faced fish was embedded deep within the ant queen's brain, grown together with it—fused into a single entity, utterly indistinguishable from one another.

Albert even felt that, once merged, the two had transformed and evolved into an entirely new offshoot of life.

A brain-parasite fish… or something of that sort.

The convoluted cerebral folds coiling around it were not merely surrounding the creature—they had grown directly onto its body, like some bizarre pattern of mutation, spreading with eerie regularity across its flattened form.

In places, rows of fan-shaped scales pierced through the brain tissue, making the thing look all the more like a failed evolutionary experiment.
