Saphen, after mentally crashing for a moment, immediately flung Cain's hand away, muttering, "Who are you trying to threaten…"
His fingers, however, continued caressing the black card, eyes sparkling like stars. Cain thought he should have hated someone like this—someone so blatantly money-hungry—but when it came to Saphen, he simply couldn't.
There was definitely something wrong with him. Yet in his eyes, Saphen was genuinely adorable.
Just then, Saphen abruptly looked up, expression guarded. "I'm not giving the money back. You already transferred it to me, so it's mine."
Cain sighed, sounding almost helpless. "I won't take it from you."
Only then did Saphen nod in satisfaction. He puckered his lips and planted a tiny kiss on the card.
Seeing that, Cain—who knows what flashed through his mind—quickly turned his face away, the tips of his ears growing slightly red.
