Days pass.
They blur together in a way time never used to for me.
And still, she hasn't left my mind.
I haven't touched Rhiannon since that night. I haven't even allowed myself to linger outside her chambers. I've forbidden the guards from reporting on her unless she's in danger. That alone should tell me how far this has gone.
Every time I close my eyes… she's there again. Backed against the wall, unable to catch her breath as she tried to pretend she didn't want what her body was already betraying.
I remember the way she moaned, whimpered, and shuddered when my fingers touched her where no other man has. I could hear her heart racing in her chest. I could smell her arousal as I ravaged her. And I can never forget the look in her eyes when I told her to look at me.
In that moment, the hunger and need I saw in those blue eyes was unlike anything I've ever seen in my entire lifetime.
