The Imperial Envoy hadn't gone far before the convoy had to stop its journey.
To confirm his suspicion, Li Chang ordered the guard outside to bring the physician. His hand never stopped as he wiped the sweat from the Prince's body.
A few seconds later, the guard came with the old physician following behind him.

Before the old physician could finish his sentence, Li Chang pulled him inside the carriage and ordered, "Quickly examine His Highness."
The physician was frightened by the Regent's terrifying aura. Still, he obeyed the order and examined the unconscious Prince.
"It's bad." The physician's expression turned grim. "High fever, rashes, and weak breathing..."
Hiss voice trembled, "T-the Prince has contracted the plague."
The Physician's throat tightened. The Crown Prince was the only heir to the throne. If something happened to him, they would all have to follow him to the grave.
