"Umm..." Xie Fang stretched his body. After a few turns, he slowly opened his eyes and looked around.
His gaze swept around the room, his eyes widening as he realized he was somewhere unfamiliar.
"Your Highness."
An excited voice came from the side. When he turned to look, it was Li Chang. The corners of his eyes were red, his hair disheveled, and dark circles hung beneath his eyes.
"You are awake." Li Chang rushed to his side. He was so overwhelmed that he forgot the etiquette. He held the Prince's hand, his voice choking as he said, "You are finally awake... Thank the heavens."
Xie Fang's brain couldn't process the Regent's words. He quickly pulled back his hand, confused. "What happened to me?"
He cast his gaze around. "Where are we? Weren't we in the carriage?"
