Chapter 1 - The Cold Mafia's Maid

Chapter -1

The Italian city shone with a different brilliance that evening.

Golden sunlight fell on the walls of the old buildings, casting a soft, gentle glow.

Olive trees swayed in the gentle breeze along the roadside,

and the distant sound of church bells added to the serenity of the atmosphere.

But behind the outward glow of this beautiful city,

a moment was unfolding that even the wind seemed to still.

In that quiet Italian cemetery, made of white marble,

a 15-year-old boy stood.

There were no tears in his eyes...

not even one.

He stood emotionless, without movement,

simply staring at the two closed coffins of his parents placed before him.

People stood around him—

priests reciting prayers,

relatives standing with their heads bowed,

lights flickering gently in the brisk breeze.

But that boy…

as if lost in another world.

His father's old manager watched him from a distance.

For a moment, his heart sank—

so young... and so much pain.

He slowly approached him,

put his hand on his shoulder,

"I'm here... you're not alone," he said softly.

But the boy remained silent.

He didn't lower his eyes,

not a word came out,

he just stared at those two coffins,

as if his entire world was being buried behind those wooden lids.

That beautiful city in Italy

at that moment wasn't just a place for him—

it had become his greatest memory,

his greatest pain,

and the darkest day of his life.

The boy closed his eyes, and a teardrop fell onto his cheek.

He stepped forward,

and saw his parents' coffins and buried them. The boy closed his eyes tightly, then opened them again.

But now there were no tears in his eyes; a different kind of passion was visible in his eyes.

In 15 years, he had seen what no one wants to see. He turned back and never turned back, and he started walking straight through the cemetery.

His father's manager saw the boy and called out,

"Andrein, please?" "Come on."

But Andrein didn't turn and walked away.
