The next day Togata wakes up getting ready in front of the mirror as Tick punches the air excitedly.
''Togata! Fellows like ourselves cannot be late!''. Vamola shouts out as she heads downstairs.
''Get ready young master! Or we'll be late!''. Tick says.
''Yeah on my way. Also I know you're excited but turn it down a notch Tick, we're not fighting just yet''. Togata sighs.
''Of course...Eh ehm, ok all ready? Let us go''. Tick says as he flies out.
Togata finishes getting ready as he steps out.
''How dashing young master!''. Tick compliments.
''Thanks''. Togata replies dryly.
When Togata arrives at school the next day greetings follow as he walks to class.
''Good Morning Togata''. A girl says as she waves.
Togata simply waves back with a small smile.
People seem to notice his coldness.
''Hmm, I've sensed your mood as declined since this morning, does it have to do with the events of yesterday? Feeling a little homesick?''. Tick asks.
''Yeah...''. Togata replies.
''Do not worry young master, I am here!''. Tick replies.
Togata smiles slightly. ''You always are''.
''Indeed! And I believe it's time we follow your fathers instructions...Are there any girls that by any chance catch your fancy?''. Tick asks.
Togata sighs with a smile. ''Tick...What are you on about now?''.
''Oh nothing young master, it is just I read an article that stated 70% of couples confirm they met in high school, these are quite important years''. Tick says.
''Uh huh, those numbers aren't adding up. And what else did the website say''. Togata asks.
''Well it also said that for some missing this vital opportunity could result in being companion-less for the rest of their lives''. Tick replies.
''Tick...''. Togata asks.
''Yes young master?''. Tick replies.
''What kind of website did you go to?''. Togata asks.
''That is none of your concern, the facts speak for themselves! Now if you may answer my previous question''. Tick replies.
''Well...No''. Togata says.
''Oh well do tell me if you do catch the 'feels' as they say for anyone and I'll be right on to check them''. Tick says.
''And why may I ask?''. Togata asks.
''To check her quality of course! I cannot allow you to betroth yourself to a sub-par female companion!''. Tick declares.
''Uh huh, you should start working on the plans for warp speed...''. Togata says as he enters class.
''Hmmhm, of course young master, although it is inevitable so we must plan for the future!''. Tick says as he flies off.
Togata shakes his head with a smile as he enters class.
After class he sits down as he listens to a vampire lore audio book.
''Togata?...Togata!?''. Riku shouts.
''Yeah?''. Togata asks.
''Bro where are you, you've been like this all morning. Whatever, anyway the vote is coming up soon and I need to work on my debate! I need your help''. Riku says.
''Sorry Riku, can't...I'm busy this week, so you're on your own''. Togata says as he gets up leaving.
''Huh!?''. Riku shouts in worry. ''I can't do it on my own!''.
''You got this, I trust you''. Togata says as he leaves the class. ''Bye''.
Togata heads to the courtyard as he leans on a pillar still listening to the book.
Aira sees him as she passes by and walks over.
''Hey, what's up with you?''. Aira asks.
''Huh?''. Togata replies.
''Word's gone around that your sad or something, they say it's cause of your house but I don't believe that''. Aira says.
''Wow, gossip spreads fast huh?''. Togata says.
Some people watch the interaction.
''We can't talk here, c'mon''. Aira says as she grabs him and takes him to an isolated area.
''So what's the deal?''. Aira asks. ''It's about your parents right?''.
''Yeah guess so, yesterday has me thinking about them again...I'll get over it''. Togata says as he sits on the grass.
Aira sits next to him. ''And so what are you gonna do about unlocking your vampire side?''.
''I'm working on it, By the way come over to the workshop later''. Togata sighs showing her the phone.
''I don't know if your just stupid or nonchalant, because you heard Death, die and take his place, aren't you worried?''. Aira asks.
Togata smiles slightly as he looks into the sky. ''I'm not scared of dying...I'm scared of what I'll leave behind...Those I care about and people that care about me''. Togata says as he looks at Aira.
''Huh? No, don't get things wrong, I do not care about you, but you're a part of this team and it's my job as leader to check on you...That's all''. Aira says looking away.
Togata stands up with a smile. ''Yeah well I care about you boss lady, ya bitch''.
Togata walks away.
''Huh!?''. Aira says as she gets up after him. ''What did you just say?!''.
''Nothing!''. Togata replies.
''...Did he just say he...Cares about me?''. Aira thinks to herself blushing a bit.
She shakes her head. ''Yeah whatever, he also called me a bitch. Right back at you!''.
Togata walks through the halls heading to his workshop as Okarun, Evil eye and Vamola show up.
''Togata!''. Okarun says as he sways from side to side.
''Okarun, what's the matter?''. Togata asks.
''I need you to...Take care of Vamola and Evil eye!''. Okarun says.
''Hail! Well met thou Togata!''. Vamola says with a smile as she waves something.
Togata smiles.
''You! You have money right! I know of it!''. Evil Eye says poking him. ''I want money!''.
''See...I really need to go to the bathroom but I can't leave the both of them alone!''. Okarun explains.
''Oh, where's Kinta?''. Togata asks.
''He's still in class arguing with the teacher about whether aliens helped medieval knights''. Okarun explains.
Togata and Okarun look at each other both sighing.
''And...How did he turn?''. Togata asks pointing to the evil eye.
''Give me money''. Evil eye says.
''He accidently drank something cold, I don't know he showed up out of nowhere''. Okarun explains.
''Fair civilian, pray tell, art a fellow such as thyself an ally or a suspicious peasant?''. Vamola asks a guy as he fawns over her and she begins waving a sword in his face.
Togata and Okarun stare at her deadpan.
''What happened to her?''. Togata asks.
''We watched a medieval documentary and she really enjoyed it''. Okarun replies.
''Uh huh, is that a...''. Togata asks.
Evil eye prowls around Togata still asking for money.
''Yes...It's a make-shift sword, the teacher gave it to her because she enjoyed the lesson so much''. Okarun replies.
''Ok...You can go use the restroom I'll watch over them, meet us at the workshop later''. Togata explains.
''Thank you!''. Okarun says as he runs off.
Evil eye suddenly grabs Togata's wallet as he runs off. ''HAHA MONEY'S!''.
''EVIL....Jiji! Get back here!''. Togata shouts.
''My Money!''. Evil eye shouts as he runs away.
Vamola runs up to Togata as she jumps on his back. ''Onward noble steed!''.
''I am not a horse Vamola''. Togata replies mentally exhausted.
''Hmmm....?''. Vamola asks begging as she makes puppy dog eyes leaning closer, very serious, tapping his shoulder with the sword.
''Ugh...Momo should have never taught you that''. Togata sighs. ''NEIGH! NEIGH!''.
Togata shouts as he makes horse sounds, gathering attention in the halls as people laugh.
''HYAH! Ride, Sir Togata! Show thy swiftness and reclaim our treasury!''. Vamola says excited.
''HAHA! THE TREASURE IS MINEEE!''. Evil eye cackles from the distance.
Vamola kicks his side like as horse. '''GALLOP BRAVE MOUNT! If thou dost catch him, I shall sing of thy valor in the tavern!''.
''You are never allowed to watch documentaries again''. Togata sighs with a smile as he begins running after evil eye slightly enjoying it as well.
Togata walks into the workshop hair messy and tired with Vamola still on his back as he drags the Evil eye after him.
''Let go of me! I'll kill ya!''. Evil Eye shouts.
Togata sticks his wallet in his mouth as the Evil eye laughs.
''Oh my, what happened here?''. Tick asks.
''I don't want to talk about it''. Togata replies.
''Hmm,''. Tick says as she goes over and carries the evil eye into a baby seat made specially for him and give him some food.
''Vamola, you can get off me now, we're done playing''. Togata says.
Vamola nods no.
''She seems quite at home young master''. Tick teases.
Togata sighs deeply. ''She watched a documentary now she thinks she's a medieval knight''.
''Oh my''. Tick says.
Then Okarun, and Aira walk into the room, Aira being lovey dovey as always.
''Okarun...We'll draw up a babysitting roster next time''. Togata sighs.
''Sorry...Thanks Togata, I hope they weren't much trouble''. Okarun says.
''Uh huh''. Togata sighs. ''Where's Momo?''.
''Busy''. Aira says. ''Why did you call us anyway?''.
''Well I can pass the message off at home''. Togata says as he heads to the table. ''I wanted to ask you if there are any spirit lurking around the school you may have heard of''.
''Why are you asking?''. Okarun asks.
''Well, I would like start doing my job already I guess, wouldn't want Death to have to make me. Plus, it's kind of the reason I came here in the first place, this school is a supernatural hotspot, so any dangerous wandering spirits you know about?''. Togata asks.
Okarun thinks for a second. ''Oh yeah, they aren't wandering but they are dangerous, the orchestra''.
''Oh, those bastards ugh''. Aira says remembering.
''Who are the orchestra?''. Togata asks.
''Some scary orchestra dude spirits in the music clubs class Turbo granny called them tulpa's or something''. Aira says pissed.
''Yeah, when I was trying to get stronger a while back, Turbo Granny took me to the school early in the morning to fight them, they are the manifestations of the fear people felt of the paintings, they are crazy dangerous if we leave them alone, some students could probably come at night and get hurt. If you want to protect people from dangerous spirits that would be a good place to start''. Okarun explains.
''Done, thanks, anything I need to know?''. Togata asks.
''You'll need to be really fast and have a rythym to beat them, but I think with your current power you should be fine...But if you want us to come with we can''. Okarun offers.
''No I'll be fine...If I have a run in with Death I wouldn't want anyone getting in the way, thank you for the information though''. Togata replies.
''No problem glad to help...But one more thing...Why is Vamola on your back''. Okarun asks.
''She thinks I'm her horse...''. Togata replies.
Aira bursts into laughter. ''Ha! You do look like one though''.
''Wow''. Togata replies as he keeps working.
Aira jumps on Okarun's back. ''Takakura...What about you be my horse?''.
''Miss Shiratori!! No please get off me''. Okarun begs.
Togata notices Aira's behavior as he adjusts his glasses. ''She acts so different with him though''.
Suddenly Momo and Kinta walk into the room as they see the scene, Vamola on Togata's back and Aira on Okarun's
''EHHH!?''. They both shout.
''Ya skank what are you doing on Okarun's back!? Get off!''. Momo shouts.
''He didn't ask me to!''. Aira replies.
''I just did''. Okarun sighs timidly.
''PRETTY BOY NUMBER 1 HOW HAVE YOU CONSPIRED AGAINST ME SO!?''. Kinta shouts.
''This is against my will as well''. Togata replies.
''Vamola if you want you can get on my back?''. Kinta asks.
Vamola hugs Togata tightly. ''My mighty steed and I are loyal partners! A fellow such as yourself should get another''.
Togata smiles as he pats her head.
''HUH!!? BETRAYAL! I'LL NEVER TRUST ANOTHER PRETTY BOY AGAIN!''. Kinta gasps.
Kinta rushes over to tackle Togata to the ground as Momo struggles to pull Aira off Okarun.
''Calm thy-selves barbarians!''. Tick shouts trying to control the chaos.
Evil eye shouts and claps his hands enjoying the ruckus.
