The music switches to faster more steady beat as the tiles begin to move below them.
Togata and Aira are now separated in what seems to be two different booths with clear see through walls, similar to dancing booths you see at arcades. The tiles switch underneath them as before but this time one on one.
Music notes fly from the musicians filling the area as in the booths the tiles change. Togata watches the bright yellow tiles below standing on them as before to avoid being blown up but Aira struggles fatigued as she doesn't keep up and she steps on the music note tiles and they explode.
''Yo boss! be careful!''. Togata shouts still trying to keep up.
''Ugh! I...Can barely move! Togata!''. Aira shouts for help still managing to keep up slightly.
''Breathe! Your body will adjust! Just breathe!''. Togata shouts.
''I'm trying!''. Aira replies as she misses another step and it explodes causing even more damage.
But Aira is too hurt to move now as she rests on the ground being blown up more and more.
''Boss lady! Dammit!''. Togata shouts as he uses his scythe to try to break out of the booth but it doesn't do any damage.
Togata notices the music note tiles in his booth are less as the one's in Aira's increase and notices a pattern.
''The tiles in my booth have reduced...While the tiles in Aira's...They said earlier it's knockout...Fine...''. Togata thinks to himself.
He takes a deep breath as he purposely takes a wrong step and get's hit by the music note tiles blasting him around the booth as he falls on to the floor again landing wrongly as he is caught in an explosion, purposely getting hit more and more by the music note tiles as they basically disappear in Aira's booth.
She looks up to see the Togata lying on the floor as even more explosions fill his booth with smoke.
''Hey!...Togata! Tick, Tick, Tick!''. Aira shouts as she pants from her booth. ''Why isn't it working!?''.
Suddenly the explosions stop as the music stops and Togata lies on the booth tiles lifeless.
''It seems he has lost, I would have liked him to have been the last one standing but you will make this revenge even sweeter''. The pianist brags. ''Play! Requiem! A befitting song for a funeral''.
Aira struggles to get on her feet as she bangs on the booth walls trying to break it, although still weak. ''You shit stains!! Togata! Togata! Wake up!''.
''Stop your shouting! It is ruining our symphony!''. The pianist shouts.
Suddenly Togata raises an arm in his booth.
Aira bangs on the wall even more as she shouts. ''Hey! Togata! Are you ok!....''.
''...I...Have an idea to get us out...But...Can you beat them on your own!?''. Togata pants.
''Of course I can!''. Aira says with determination as she stares at them.
''He seems to be alive''. The composer says.
''Faking a funeral, how dishonorable!''. The pianist says. ''Restart the games!''.
The music tiles begin to reappear as Aira looks down.
''Whatever you're going to do....Do it now!''. Aira shouts.
''Insolent fools, you cannot break that barrier, it is embed with the melody of our music and much like it is unbreakable!''. The pianist brags.
''That's cap,... anything can break, just need to move at the right speed, you feeling me? Boom''. Togata summons his scythe as he holds it and throws it into the music note tile in front of him as he blows it outwards at incredible speeds and bounces around the booth.
''10x''. Togata says.
The scythe gets even faster as it breaks out of the booth slicing into Aira's booth and destroying the wall as it bounces around bumping into the flying music notes as they explode increasing it's velocity even more flying outwards too fast to be seen.
Togata moves his hand left and right face down on the floor as the scythe seems to follow it's movement and suddenly the scythe lands in the ground below as everyone looks around.
The pianist laughs amused. ''Your little display was quite usel...''.
Suddenly the head of the violin player falls off as his body seems to disintegrate.
''Huh? How did you....''. Aira gasps surprised.
''Go now!''. Togata shouts.
Aira runs towards the musicians as they float away.
''On the defensive! Backup singers!''. The pianist shouts.
The people in the stands run out as the titans run towards them as well.
''Togata, Incoming the others!''. Aira shouts.
''Don't worry about me focus on them!''. Togata shouts as he manages to pull himself onto his back.
''Controlling the scythe like that was almost impossible, I barely got him, but when I can see, it's a whole lot easier!''. Togata says as he summons his scythe once again, it sinks into the ground where it is and rises up right under him making him stand upright although slouching as he grabs it.
He throws it it at a music note as it blasts around the battlefield slicing the heads off the army running towards him.
''I can angle the scythe head towards me at anytime, and the rotation of the scythe head causes it to act like a boomerang, creating a trajectory I can predict and control! Not to mention speeding it up with Tick's powers makes it even more deadly!''. Togata thinks to himself as he moves his hand and the scythe follows it.
He sends it towards the titans as they block, putting their hands in front of their faces. but Togata freezes the scythe mid-air and when the titan remove the block he sends it forward again slicing the necks of 3 of the 4 titans off.
But the army of backup singers run towards him as they close in.
''I can't kill all of them.....I should focus on helping Aira''. Togata thinks to himself.
Togata turns around and stretches his hand towards where Aira is chasing the musicians and the scythe rushes past his head towards Aira.
Aira dodges the music notes as best she can but they begin to overwhelm her.
''You will never catch us brat! You will be buried here!''. The pianist gloats.
''Dammit if they didn't have the composer they wouldn't be able to fly like last time!''. Aira shouts.
Aira looks around her as suddenly she is surrounded by music notes which fly towards her, she creates a shield with her hair but then Togata's scythe appears slicing through the music notes causing them to explode as light fills the area.
''Boss lady! What's the hassle?! Murc those fools!''. Togata shouts.
''The composer! Without him they won't be able to fly! Aim for him!''. Aira shouts.
Togata nods as he sends the scythe towards the musicians as they protect themselves by creating music notes in front of them which the scythe hits exploding backwards as Aira manages to dodge it.
''Damn it!''. Aira shouts as she turns around to see the scythe heading back at Togata.
Togata looks backwards to see the army racing towards him just seconds from reaching his position then everything seems to slow down.
''Shit...I don't have time to catch it and turn the scythe back around! Not to mention I can barely stand, there's no way I can fight those guys off....Think! Think!..''. Togata shouts to himself.
''Wait...Boomerang...It's heading towards me but...If I can curve it in a parabolic trajectory it could speed up even more, centrifugal force...Like when NASA uses the gravity of a planets to slingshot spacecraft to increase their speed. But...There are music notes in front of the composer, so it won't hit him head on...I'll change the angle...Common core don't fail me now''. Togata thinks as he looks at the music notes calculating the trajectory in his head as the music notes that the scythe is going to hit light up blue.
''...Let's hope I didn't forget to carry the two''. Togata says to himself as he uses all his strength to jump into the air, twist flipping as he stretches his hand outwards and the scythe follows creating an arc around him as it flies back even faster back at Aira and the musicians. The wave of backup dancers just reaching him as they jump on him crushing him under their weight and the last titan steps on him.
''Togata!''. Aira shouts as the scythe whizzes past her head creating a sonic boom sound.
It ricochets in the air as it hits the music notes creating a melody and slices the head of the composer before the music notes even explode.
The sky erupts in light and smoke as the notes finally explode and the musicians fall to the ground.
''He...Actually did it''. Aira says to herself before running right at the musicians.
''We have been compromised! Evasive maneuvers!''. The pianist shouts as they play faster creating more music notes which fly towards Aira.
She easily dodges them flipping, ducking and leaping over them to get to the musicians.
''You underestimated me and my student, and for that you will be honorably punished!''. Aira shouts as she opens up a ball made of her hair to reveal music notes inside.
''In our last battle I noticed they only explode upon contact with a surface although my hair is so soft they don't think of it as a surface, asswipes!''. Aira shouts.
She opens up the hair as she throws the notes at them creating a shield with her hair as they explode killing the musicians due to the explosion. Releasing the two from the space.
Aira pants on the ground as she looks around to see herself back in the classroom. She sees Togata lying on the ground injured.
''HAHAHAHHA! STUPID PIECES OF SHIT! I KICKED YOUR ASSES WHILE DANCING INCREDIBLY! EAT THAT!''. Aira gloats as she dances around.
''Togata! Hey did you see that! Hahaa! I totally sent those shit biscuits back to the hell they came from!''. Aira says as she looks at him.
Togata doesn't respond and he doesn't move.
Aira stares at him worried. ''Togata?....''.
