The terrain changes as Aira and Togata stand in a paddy field.
''A Paddy field...Again? New tricks my ass!''. Aira shouts as the spirits float above.
''Stupid girl! Do not underestimate us!''. The pianist shouts as the floor turns into colored tiles which glow and change color.
Suddenly the field becomes an arena as millions of people dressed in fancy clothes are gathered around them sitting down as they cheer loudly.
4 Titans sit on big chairs behind them as they sing loudly.
''Hey boss lady...This new or what?''. Togata asked.
''Yes it's new shut up!''. Aira shouts.
''Where'd the gigantos come from?''. Togata asks.
''Ugh this is so annoying!'' Aira says looking around.
''Yo! Can we like...Change the music, it ain't passing the vibe check bro''. Togata yells out to the pianist.
''No!...''. The pianist shouts.
''Can you take this seriously!''. Aira shouts.
The composer points at Togata dramatically as he whispers something to the others.
They all gasp.
''You...Boy! You are the reaper are you not!?''. The composer asks.
''Straight up''. Togata replies casually.
They gasp again.
''It seems our fame has spread so much the reaper himself has come to pay us a visitation. This is a very important day! So let us play out best!''. The pianist says.
''They know who you are?''. Aira asks confused.
''Woah...This is lit...I'm like...Totally a celebrity or something''. Togata says. ''So since I'm so special can you guys do me the favor of like dying without any struggles, that would be totally bussin' ''. Togata says as he puts a peace sign up.
''What the hell are you even saying!?''. Aira asks.
''Yes...You are quite the important person...The spirit world will have to acknowledge our greatness when we kill the grim reaper himself and hang your head on my piano! It will be an incredible finishing piece!''. The pianist says.
''Oh...It's like that huh...Well shit, I didn't like ya that much anyway''. Togata says as he raises his scythe pointing it at them.
''Hmm I do not know why you are in cahoots with this girl, either way it will be quite enjoyable to make the reaper dance like a monkey for our amusement''. The pianist says as he begins to play.
''Huh?''. Aira asks.
''Hell nah you trippin if ya think I'm gonna start dancing...That's not my style''. Togata says.
''Let us begin with the waltz shall we?''. The pianist says as everyone begins to play.
Music notes form on the tiles as some tiles beneath Togata and Aira start to light up yellow as the yellow light changes from tile to tile switching off of their feet and turning into music note tiles.
Togata and Aira stand on them as they look down.
''Best try to keep up!''. The pianist shouts.
''What'cha yapping about?''. Togata asks.
Suddenly the tiles below them explode upwards as Togata and Aira are caught in the explosion that sends them flying upwards.
Meanwhile Tick flies around the school looking for the students who are coming, he hears sounds coming from down the hall.
''I believe our visitors have arrived''. Tick says to himself as he enters the wall.
''Dude I don't like this...This is spooky bro''. A boy says.
''Yeah same here...Who the hell cares if the school is haunted! We shouldn't have accepted this dumb bet anyway!''. A girl says as she cowers walking carefully.
''Ghost aren't real''. Another girl replies.
''Don't be such scaredy cats, if it's real, we'll catch it using my uncles equipment, if they're not then we leave, it's just a quick search of the school''. A second boy says.
''Well then it's been quite a while but I think I can still raise the ol' heart rate with a good scare''. Tick says as he closes the doors rapidly.
The students hold each other in fear as they scream. ''AHH!''.
''Leave this place, during the night this school belongs not to the hands of the living!''. Tick says spookily, his voice booming in the halls.
''I told you ghosts are real!''. A girl screams.
''No...This must be a trick, it has a British accent or something''. The other girl replies.
''I'm out of here!''. The boy shouts but suddenly the other boy grabs him.
''Don't run hold your weapons ya scared bastard! If we catch a ghost we'll be rich!''. The other boy says as he throws a device in the direction where they heard the sound. ''I don't believe this bullshit! If you're real come out and face us!''.
''Is this boy daft!?''. Tick says angrily as he materializes in front of them. ''How real is this!?''.
Everyone shouts as the boy randomly shoots something which smacks Tick into the device on the floor trapping him as it blinks red.
''Oh...OH OH OH THIS IS BAD!''. Tick shouts as he cannot leave the device.
''It worked!?''. Everyone says looking at each other.
''My uncle isn't a nut after all! It actually worked AHAHAH! We're gonna be rich!''. The boy shouts as he goes to retrieve the device.
''Oh no! The young master will be so mad at me for being incompetent!''. Tick shouts.
''Who's the young master?''. The boy asks.
''I'm stuck! This device seems to trap me inside of it! How do I get out!?''. Tick says to himself.
''How does that thing work!?''. A girl asks.
''My uncle told me that electromagnetic waves can affect apparitions, I don't understand what the hell that is but it works''.
''....That's it!....Young master forgive me!''. Tick says as he de-materializes inside the device escaping.
Suddenly the device turns to green.
''Huh? It...It left!''. The boy shouts.
''It left?! How!?''. The girl asks.
''I don't know but we have to find it! Hey ghost come out here! You scared little piece of shit!''. The boy says as he runs around the hall.
Togata and Aira land on the floor in pain as they struggle to get up.
''Ugh! What the hell is this!?''. Aira asks.
Togata immediately focuses on the floor as it begins changing again suddenly he is on a music note tile as it explodes once again blowing off his hood.
''Togata!''. Aira shouts as she looks down to see herself lying on yellow glowing tiles unharmed.
Togata pants as he notices a pattern. ''The tiles are moving constantly...The yellow one's don't blow up do they?''. Togata thinks to himself.
''Insolent brats we'll teach you real taste!''. The pianist declares.
The tiles change again as Aira and Togata now stand on music note tiles. Noticing Togata drops his scythe and hops off immediately grabbing Aira as he holds her close moving onto the yellow glowing tiles.
''Huh?''. Aira says looking down.
''Boss lady, the yellow one's don't explode, the damn bastards want us to do a jig for them...That's what they meant by waltz earlier''. Togata explains.
''I see. Well then if this is their game they have already failed...I am an experienced dancer!''. Aira says proudly.
''I'm not''. Togata replies.
''EH!?''. Aira asks.
''Yeah...I totes can't bust a move, you're gonna have to carry this one''. Togata says.
The tiles below change again as Aira uses her hair and drags Togata onto the place where the yellow glowing tiles have moved.
''Ugh why must I do everything!''. Aira says. ''I shall be your honorable instructor and teach you''.
''On it boss lady...We almost got totally bashed back there''. Togata says allowing her to move him.
When the music slows down Aira grabs him moving his arms, she takes his left hand with her right and holds Togata's hand into the air doing the same on the left.
''This is the correct stance for the waltz, now follow my lead!''. Aira says. ''The timing is three over four and it goes step close, step close, step close, do you understand?''.
''I like totally zoned out and didn't understand a word of what you just said, but you do you''. Togata says nonchalantly as she pulls him across the dance floor and he steps on her legs.
''Ouch! Whatever just follow the tiles and don't step on my feet! You are slowing me down!''. Aira shouts.
The two dance gracefully across the floor matching the tiles as they avoid being blown by the music notes.
''This is so vanilla, it has no style, but it's kinda fun''. Togata says.
''You seem to be getting the hang of it''. Aira says. ''You're a fast learner or maybe I'm such an incredible teacher!''.
''Increase the tempo! Increase!''. The pianist shouts as they play faster and faster.
Togata and Aira focus keeping up with the beat.
''You call this difficult, I could do this in my sleep you style lacking shitheads!''. Aira says.
''Oh could you now!? Then let's change the style entirely then!''. The pianist says. ''Tango!''.
Suddenly a faster song plays and the tile style changes.
''Tango huh!?''. Aira says as she readjusts Togata's position putting one of his hands on her hip.
''Follow my lead, move with me!''. Aira commands.
Togata leans into her movements matching her perfectly. ''Oh yeah this is more like it''.
Togata and Aira move around seamlessly around the tiles.
''Is this all you've got!?''. Aira asks mockingly.
''AHHH! Backup dancers!''. The pianist shouts.
Suddenly the people in the stands around them run towards them exploding on the tiles as they eventually reach them.
''Alright we're going a bit off script my pupil, listen to my every instruction to the letter!''. Aira commands.
''Mixing it up huh? I'm down''. Togata replies.
The people try to hit them as explosions wrap the area.
''Spin me, carry, left, dip!''. Aira commands.
Togata spins her as she hits the people away causing them to land on the music note tiles exploding, he lifts her across as she kicks in a circle, Togata's grips accidently slips lower than her hips.
''AH! Do be careful where you put your hands, I wouldn't want to slap my star pupil''. Aira says.
They move to the left and then dip hitting even more away.
''Hmph! You have underestimated my skills and you shall pay dearly!''. Aira shouts posing.
''Slayyyy...boss lady''. Togata says nonchalantly with a smile.
''It seems our erratic movements are moving us closer...Ready yourselves for a merciless beating!''. Aira says.
''Faster! Faster!''. The pianist shouts as the musicians play faster.
The song gets even faster.
Togata and Aira start to drag behind, getting closer and closer to being caught in an explosion.
''Boss lady, we gotta go faster!''. Togata says.
''I..I cannot!''. Aira says worried.
''Dammit''. Togata says as he thinks to himself. ''I've got an Idea, but it's gonna hurt''.
''Then do it already!''. Aira shouts.
''I'll speed us up...But I'm sure the boss lady's body won't be able to handle even 2x.....I got it. I'll speed us up by 3x and slow us down by 2x creating a mini 1.5x boost''. Togata thinks to himself.
''1.5x!''. Togata says.
Suddenly they move faster keeping up with the rhythm.
''Are you okay?''. Togata asks.
''I'm just fine''. Aira replies still keeping her eyes on the musicians.
''AHHH!! Faster! FASTER! MORE...MORE TEMPO!''. The pianist shouts as the musicians play even faster again, now sweating due to the speed at which they are playing.
Togata and Aira drag behind again.
''We need to speed up again!''. Togata says.
''Then just do it!''. Aira replies.
''Take a deep breath!''. Togata says. ''2x!''.
Suddenly Aira and Togata move faster keeping up, but the song keeps getting even faster.
''3x!''. Togata says.
Aira struggles to keep up. ''Ugh!!...My muscles!...It hurts!''.
''Just hold on!''. Togata says as they get close enough and he throws her towards the musicians.
''ENOUGH!''. The pianist shouts.
Suddenly Aira is blown back by a music note as Togata catches her.
''That is quite enough, if you are enjoying a duet then let us move on to a one on one! 9th symphony!''. The pianist shouts as the terrain changes again.
Togata and Aira are now separated as they look over at each other, tiles still below them.
''We'll now move on to a knockout round, last person standing wins''. The pianist says menacingly. ''Play!''.
